It wasn’t like they could bloody help the magic that was in their veins from birth. And it certainly wasn’t like they could just give it to their other sister. Sometimes, she wondered what it would have been like for them if they were never discovered to have magic. She supposed they would still be close with their sister and that their parents might even still be together. Although that was slightly desirable, she really didn’t want to deal with that. It would be a lie, something that she didn’t want to see through. They saw their family in their true colors; it would be rather difficult to come back from that, obviously. How could they ever trust them? They were blessed with magic, not bloody cursed. Tinsley couldn’t wait to graduate so that she and Sutton could go get an apartment somewhere and live their lives, forgetting about their family that practically disowned them.

“Where should we go?” she asked curiously, her mind wandering with the different possibilities. They could go anywhere, really, she supposed. They had no family holding them back here in London. “Oh, are they? Interesting,” Tinsley stated, trying to think of the different blokes from each house. She couldn’t really sort them all that well, all of the faces kind of running together at this point. “And bore myself doing whatever it is that Ravenclaws do for fun? Absolutely not, love,” she grinned. “Guess you’ll just have to look from afar,” she shrugged.

They hadn’t known about magic before getting their Hogwarts letters. Sutton found it unbelievable how apparently her father and sister were apparently able to disregard that fact. Somehow, it was still their fault that they were different, not that she cared. Since she didn’t give a damn about people who didn’t give a damn about her, she was glad that she had something that her other triplet didn’t. She could stay with their father and her bitterness, and she would be bloody magical, for Merlins’ sake. Sutton had said good riddance the second that they’d made the decision to leave, even if her father had taken off before Aubrey had. And now, after all these years, she and Tinsley were almost at the point where they could go off and do whatever the hell they wanted to. To her, it really was like Tinsley was the only family she had left, and that was fine with her. She didn’t need her father, obviously, or Aubrey and although their mother was still around, they hardly needed a woman that could barely even take care of herself. They were better off getting as far away from that depressing hellhole of a house once they graduated. “Club-hopping around the world, obviously,” she stated, as though the answer was clear. They did enjoy going to clubs in London more than anything when they were home, so there was no reason not to expand that after graduating, “While we hunt down our rich husbands.” That was something else they wanted… money. If Sutton had her sister, and the funds to do whatever she wanted, then she would be set. She hardly thought that was too much to ask for.

Sutton knew that Tinsley saw a fit bloke as a fit bloke, regardless of the house that they were in. But Sutton liked to categorize; it helped her to best figure out how to get what she wanted from a bloke, and the Sorting Hat helped her out by giving them all categories that she could work with. “Oh, they certainly are,” Sutton said, solemnly, recalling the Gryffindor from the night before. It was just something about that house, apparently. “Ravenclaws don’t have fun, that’s the problem,” she replied, rolling her eyes. Their idea of a good time was probably book club or something ridiculous like that. She originally didn’t think that house stereotypes would really be true, once she had learned about these different houses, and she found that Ravenclaw certainly proved that wrong. Absolutely dull. “Or just pretend to be you when you’re not around, and score myself a Gryffindor Quidditch player,” Sutton countered, shrugging. Pulling a switch would certainly be a good way of getting a firsthand taste of all of the attractive Gryffindor blokes in their common room.

It was almost exciting that graduation was so close; no, it definitely was exciting that it was so close. Only a year left and then she and Sutton could be on their merry way, allowed to bloody use their wand outside of school and not have to worry about the repercussions of such acts. Even though they were 17, it was hardly like they were allowed to do anything just yet. However, as soon as they graduated, they would bid the horrid school farewell and they would go live in some tropical place, sipping margaritas and basking in the sun to tan their perfect skin. It was the dream, that much she knew. Sure, they would have to get jobs, but she wasn’t all that concerned. Getting work when one was an attractive bint was hardly considered something difficult, particularly if it was a bloke that was hiring. Finally, they would be able to leave their depressing mother and they would definitely never have to see their father or ridiculous sister again. They would seek out the ultimate happiness and that was all she needed to even try to be useful at school. It was only a matter of time.

She remembered being disappointed that Sutton had been sorted into a different house, the wrong house. They hadn’t ever been separated before and the idea of losing her sister then was aggravating. However, it ended up being beneficial as they now had access to at least two dormitories, which definitely opened up more opportunities of finding someone easy to shag when needed. She supposed they would be considered sluts, but did that even really matter? It was simply a word and as long as she got what she needed, everything was fine. “Club-hopping around the world,” Tinsley grinned, nodding in agreement at the idea. “Handsome, rich husbands,” she corrected, knowing that she was rather shallow, after all. Why waste their time being with a wealthy unattractive male when they could just as easily find someone who was wealthy and attractive? Being a poster wife was hardly an insult to Tinsley.

“You just have to convince them about the fun that they are missing. They probably try to relate everything to what they bloody read in a book,” Tinsley laughed at the thought, amused. Though, she supposed if she were in the middle of a shag, she would probably kill someone for bringing up a bloody book. “Oh please, you hardly even look like me,” she joked playfully, rolling her eyes.

Sutton did wish that they were seventh years, and that the end of this year was marking them actually being able to move out and move on from their ridiculous mother and their depressing house. In fact, she did still contemplate if they could pull that off regardless of it technically being against the rules or law or something. Allegedly, students at Hogwarts were supposed to live at home until they graduated, and couldn’t get an apartment until they graduated. But, the Muggle world didn’t know that, though she supposed they weren’t even of age there yet. Bloody ridiculous, she thought, rolling her eyes at the thought of another summer at home, but she was glad that it was their last. “Figured you’d like that idea,” Sutton said, brightly, knowing that her sister loved going to clubs just as much as Sutton did, if not more. It was simply a bloody amusing way to spend their time and what they did a lot during the summer. “Handsome, yes, I thought that was implied,” she agreed, nodding. Obviously they would have to be fit as well as incredibly wealthy, but that wasn’t too much to ask for. They just had to get through one more year at this restricting school.

She hadn’t known what to expect when coming to Hogwarts, and seeing that they were sorted into houses based on the opinion of a ridiculous hat had been… an interesting start. And by interesting, she really meant that it had been an immediate strike against the place. A hat. A damn hat. Sutton wasn’t categorized into any group at all, first off, and certainly not because of a hat telling her so. So, of course, she had immediately known that whatever the hat chose was wrong, as all of the houses were irrelevant in her mind. Perhaps that was why it had put her into Ravenclaw… because it had heard her thoughts on its absolute worthlessness. “That would mean that they got their heads out from those books long enough to relate anything in the real world to them,” she combated, shaking her head. Incredibly dull—she never could get over it, thinking that eventually her house would be marginally more interesting, and finding herself sorely disappointed to find that they would always be the same. Sutton shrugged, an amused grin on her face at her sister’s comment, “We look similar enough, so I hear.”

Graduating meant that they would actually have to get jobs, or something ridiculous. Tinsley wasn’t even certain what she wanted to do, completely alright with just lazing about on beaches during the day, sipping on martinis before going dancing at night. That sounded rather lovely, actually. Some girls dreamed of actually doing something more productive she supposed, but what was so wrong with desiring to be a damn house wife? It wasn’t insulting to her in the slightest and it kept her hands clean, at least. Though, her husband better not expect her to have children or anything as that just sounded horrifying. Regardless, she and Sutton needed to find wealthy husbands in the same area as obviously they couldn’t be expected to separate. She supposed that they almost were closer than most ‘twins’ as they really did seem to be rather identical in nearly all areas. There wasn’t anyone else that Tinsley would even contemplate going to the beach with, really, or to go club-hopping. That was their thing. Perhaps their adventures over the summer would bring about someone that was actually worth their attention.

“I heard the men in Italy are attractive and wealthy. Though, that’s still a bit closer to home than I’d prefer,” she shrugged. She’d rather go across the damn world, no chance of ever running into any of these ridiculous faces again. Of course, it wasn’t like they knew she disliked them; they were just annoying, was all. “Well, sounds like you’re shit out of luck in that house,” she laughed. “If you were sorted in Slytherin, perhaps I’d consider switching with you but alas, you’re in bloody Ravenclaw.” She smirked at her sister’s comment, shrugging as if it were usual. They weren’t those annoying ‘twins’ that desperately tried to be their own person, needing to make something of themselves. That simply sounded like too much work and why would they try to look different when they could have so much fun being each other?

Sutton couldn’t wait for whatever the hell would greet them when they graduated and went off away from this school. They could actually do whatever they want and would have no more obligations to go back to their mother, or rules to follow like they did here. The options were limitless, she found, and it would just be a matter of figuring out what city and what club they wanted to hit first. That would be a pretty perfect life until they found their very handsome and very wealthy husbands. No one could deny twins, after all, so she knew that it would be very easy to get into VIP sections of clubs. And those sections were home to the wealthy, and then they could just narrow down the ones that were attractive enough. It shouldn’t be too hard, and it was a better plan than having to work for a living. Yes, she supposed they might have to work for a bit in order to get the funding for the traveling, but that shouldn’t take too long. Then, they could move onto bigger and better things.

“Italy,” she repeated, nodding. Tinsley was right in the fact that it would be a better idea to get as far away from England as possible, and Italy was not far enough. But she did like the sound of Italy, and it might be a fair place to start, really. “We could always start there and head progressively further away when we get bored.” After all, Sutton was sure that even Italy would get boring eventually, as they did have very high standards. If they didn’t find anyone of interest there, then they would just move onto another country. “If I was sorted into Slytherin, then I wouldn’t be in this situation, sweetheart,” she replied, grinning. Slytherin didn’t seem all that bad, she supposed, and she did wonder why the Hat hadn’t riddled that one out—probably because it was too bloody worn and useless to actually put her in the right house. But even the Slytherins at the school were irritating, obviously, so it was simply a lost cause all around.

Tinsley absolutely loved her sister more than anyone could even imagine. They were best friends and sisters, the perfect combination. It was still slightly aggravating that they had been separated into different houses, though that also worked to their benefit at times. It helped that they were identical, as that would certainly suck otherwise, obviously. Being identical meant that they were able to pass off as the other, seeing no reason to try to look different. Besides, it was like looking into a mirror every day and seeing perfection; why the hell wouldn’t Tinsley like that? She supposed they would benefit by finding a pair of wealthy brothers, hoping that they would live near each other for their benefit, at least.

“True; no need to stay in one place,” Tinsley agreed, nodding in the affirmative. “We are going to need to find husbands to keep up with our tastes, though,” she stated, frowning slightly. It would be unfortunate to tie down so quickly, though she supposed they could just find husbands who wouldn’t mind open relationships, opening up the opportunity for much more entertainment. “I doubt Slytherin would accept us, anyhow. The whole mudblood shit and all,” she shrugged, not at all offended by that terminology. It is what it is, she knew, and there was nothing to be changed about that. Wasting her time getting offended was simply absurd. “Well, darling, can’t stay out here too long before it burns our skin,”she shrugged, glancing up at the hot sun and feeling her skin warming. “Ready?”

Sutton knew that most people graduated from Hogwarts and had some grand plans about jobs and families, and their silly ideas for the future. Her plan with Tinsley was much better than that, since club-hopping around the world and finding rich blokes to take care of them sounded a hell of a lot more interesting than anything else they could do with their time. Why would they want to get jobs? She would be more than content in not working a day in her life, and if she did, she planned on doing something incredibly easy that would also find her a rich husband—like modeling, perhaps, knowing that being attractive was something that didn’t require any effort. That would get the attention of potential rich and fit husbands, and she knew that Tinsley would be all right with that idea. But, that would only happen if they absolutely had to work, having no other option. Until then, she found their original idea to be far superior to just about anything else. It got them out of the house, out of this country, and away from their family—apart from each other, but that much didn’t even need to be stated.

“I’m sure we’ll find some quickly, so long as they’re up to our standards,” she answered, shrugging. It might be a bit difficult to find a husband that didn’t have some irritating fault, but she could make concessions if they were providing her with everything else that she needed. No one could say that she couldn’t compromise, then, she thought, amused. “Oh, you’re right. The mudblood shit. Figures,” Sutton replied, not surprised that the one house that was arguably the most tolerable wouldn’t accept them because of that. Luckily, she really didn’t give a damn about all that nonsense, not seeing a need to get offended by some apparently derogatory name. “Yes, very true,” she agreed, pulling herself to her feet. The sun was only causing her headache to worsen anyhow. “Let’s go,” Sutton added, glancing back at the castle. Thank Merlin it was only a month until the summer, as she couldn’t wait to actually be able to have a bit of fun without all of these damn rules, she thought, as she waited for her sister to get to her feet before heading up to the school.
