There wasn’t a bar that she wouldn’t venture into, really, depending on her mood. Hell, she’d been reckless enough to go to the White Wyvern before in Knockturn Alley, even, and most people would suggest against a Muggleborn braving that area. Her logic had been that it wasn’t as if her blood status was plastered on her forehead and there was no harm in stopping in for a few drinks. Callie had thought she was capable of keeping a low profile and no one would even notice her anyhow. She supposed that wasn’t exactly true since she had certainly been noticed, but no one had thought to ask her if she was a mudblood or something like that; Callie figured they probably held with the same idea that a Muggleborn wouldn’t come down that way anyhow. it had been an interesting night. But besides that, she found most bars to be nice in their own ways, and she switched between the Three Broomsticks and Hog’s Head depending on how she felt that evening. “Often enough,” she answered, shrugging lightly. Sometimes she found the company to be better there anyhow, and it was a lot more low-key than the Leaky Cauldron.

Callie really had been unsure what this bloke’s end game had been, though she’d been leaning towards, or hoping more like, that it was of a more entertaining conclusion of the evening. Of course, she could talk to anyone for any amount of time, and he was proving to be far more interesting than most and easily the most attractive bloke she’d seen in a while, and that was just causing her thoughts to drift in more inappropriate directions on occasion. But she simply hadn’t wanted to assume, nor was she the type to try all that hard, preferring to see what opportunities presented themselves. Her smile widened at his comment as she turned to glance at him. “That’s something I would not turn down,” she replied, before bringing her drink to her lips to take a quick swig of the liquor. Callie was certainly liking the direction of this conversation.

For far too long this conversation had continued, progressing to topics that he really didn’t want to touch upon merely because holding conversations with bints when he was wanting to shag them and leave was hardly on his agenda. He needed to stay focused on the task at hand, which was not bloody caring about anything she had to say, regardless of what was being said. Perhaps she really were the most attractive bint that he had come across, though he would have to keep that part to himself. Maybe he really was getting thrown off his game because he met his counterpart, as good looking people attracted good looking people. Finally, he found someone that was on his level, not that it mattered in the slightest. Even if they were on the same level, this relationship wasn’t going to work…because they had no relationship. There was nothing there…and he really shouldn’t even be thinking about that fucking ‘r’ word as it made no sense for what they were…or weren’t…whatever the hell was going on. At least, he mused, he managed to move the conversation to a safer topic…one which would lead to the end of this evening, hopefully.

“Clearly not often enough,” he pointed out. He certainly would not have forgotten a face like hers…hell, they might have had this horribly awkward conversation much sooner had he seen her before. No, it wasn’t awkward…it was awkward that it wasn’t bloody awkward. A smirk grew on his features at her response, knowing that this would probably be the end of their conversation…for now. No, not for now…there was no reason to converse beyond this meeting. “Ready for that taste?”he asked, brushing his lips against her ear, smirking.

Callie supposed that it was rather odd that she had never seen Levi before with the amount of times that she had been to the Hog’s Head. Yes, she did go to the Three Broomsticks more, but she had certainly paid her dues at his pub by going there on numerous occasions. She would have noticed him, that much was for certain. As much as she liked that particular bar, it wasn’t necessarily known for housing blokes that were much to look at; she wasn’t shallow, but it was still an observation that she’d noticed. If he’d been there, she would have bloody well noticed, that was for certain. Though, she supposed an owner of a pub could probably be behind the scenes a lot, dealing with the more backroom operations of the place as opposed to being out and about with the customers. But he seemed a bit surprised that he’d never seen her as well, leading her to believe that he was in the front room enough for it to be odd that they hadn’t run across each other before. “Maybe you just didn’t notice me,” she countered, raising an eyebrow. If he was busy with work, that was possible, though it still didn’t explain how she hadn’t seen him before.

This conversation had taken an intriguing turn, and she wasn’t complaining in the slightest. If the night was ending up with her shagging him, then it was going to be a better night than she had expected. Of course, it had already been a good night just with the conversation alone, but this would make the evening even better in her mind. Callie set the drink back down on the bar in time for him to move his lips to her ear, causing her to still. “Yes,” she answered, simply, a more coherent sentence not coming to mind when he was this close to her. Yes, this was going to be an even better night that she had originally thought it would be, and now she was quite ready to leave the bar.

Levi figured that he would have to spend a bit more time at his pub if he had missed this face frequenting it. He didn’t know how often she frequented, but he certainly would have noticed her unless she was wearing a bloody mask or something…in which case, he would have still noticed her and probably would have kept an eye out. With all of the outside shit that was going on, Levi wanted that shit to be left outside of the pub. When it came to being inside the pub, everyone was to leave that drama at the door and he was sure to see to it that they did. Drinking was meant to be relaxing, a good release away from the real world shit that was going on…not some bloody macho fest. “Trust me, I would have noticed you,” he grinned, looking her over darkly.

He grinned at her quick, simple, response, knowing that she was just as ready for this evening to progress as he was. The evening had started out slow but he was going to quickly correct that and move things back to how they should be occurring. It was a rough beginning, but getting back on track was definitely on the horizon and he could sense that he was feeling more at ease, no longer feeling like that ridiculous child with a crush on his hot professor or something, whatever the hell this was. Knowing that there was a quick getaway that was attached to this pub, Levi still hadn’t wanted it. Not this time, at least. Everything about this night was different so he might as well continue on with it, breaking all of the damn rules for a night. Finishing his drink, he stood up, resting his hand on her back before leaning close, pushing her hair out of the way of her neck, letting his lips touch the space tenderly. “Follow me,” he said simply against her neck before stepping back, waiting for her to get up before he exited the pub, every intention of taking her home.

She was starting to wonder if she really had just somehow missed Levi every time that she’d bee at the Hog’s Head. No, she didn’t go there every damn day, but she at least went a couple of times a month and having not even caught a glimpse of the owner of the establishment was odd now that she was meeting him. Callie supposed she hadn’t met the owner of many bars that she had been in, but he was someone that she was pretty damn sure would stand out if he had happened to be there while she was getting a few drinks. Granted, she was a bit preoccupied last time that she was there, catching up with Ryder, but normally she went to bars by herself because she didn’t mind the solitude and liked striking up conversations with people that she didn’t know. But apparently, she simply hadn’t seen him, and that was odd but clearly true because he was not someone that she would have forgotten seeing. “Guess I would have noticed you too,” she agreed, with an amused smile. Callie certainly would have, obviously, so there was no problem for her to admit that as well.

Callie hadn’t expected this to so quickly become about a shag, but it very clearly was now and she wasn’t going to complain about that. They’d had quite the interesting conversation, which she hadn’t been expecting, but she had to admit that he was far too attractive for her to not be contemplating shagging him. She supposed that they would just be getting a room upstairs, but that thought wasn’t on her mind for more than a moment before she was distracted by him bringing his lips to her neck. Taking one last swig of her drink, she set the empty glass back onto the bar before getting to her feet. She followed him toward the door, though was surprised that he actually exited the pub, though she supposed it didn’t much matter where they went. Obviously he had somewhere in mind.
