General Appearance: Lars is 6'0" and fit but not overly muscular. He has blonde hair, and blue eyes. Normally, his hair is a bit on the longer side, and is rather messy
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Skills: Lars is incredibly good at getting his way. Whether he is threatening, persuading, blackmailing, or simply speaking very convincingly, there are not many situations where something does not go the way he wants it to. On the same spectrum, Lars is very good at talking people into a circle in order to prove himself right and the other person wrong; this is mostly because he is quite logical, though it is also because he just is that cocky that he is right. He also is incredibly good at charming people when he wants to, finding it amusing to gain people's trust and having them like him.
Weaknesses: His narrow-mindedness can certainly work against him, as it makes it so that he can unintentionally underestimate people. If he is in a particularly bad mood, he is not as good at being charismatic, and some of the more negative parts of his personality come out. Lars has a very quick temper, which can led him to make very rash decisions. His prejudice and misogynistic tendencies are both weaknesses, even though he doesn't see it as such. However, it is another reason that he can underestimate people, and in general is just a reason that he is very hard to like if one were to actually know him. That is, unless they share the same beliefs.

Character History:

Lars was raised by only his father, since his mother died in childbirth. He had a traditional upbringing, learning from a young age that he was better than others based on his blood status. His father had always taught him to be assertive and proud, which are aspects of his personality that have certainly stayed with him as he grew up. He went to school at Durmstrang, starting in the year 2006. He was very popular in school, as he is incredibly charismatic even as he was also very arrogant and prejudiced. That was simply more accepted at Durmstrang.

It was in the summer after his fourth year that his father met Oriana, and he was not necessarily happy that his father was interested in a British woman, especially a half-blood. To him, it didn't make any sense that his father would be interested in this woman, though he has learned over the years that that is possibly a good way to go about things, as he witnesses his father guilting Oriana about that constantly and using it against her. It is also because of this that he dislikes his stepsister so much, constantly talking about how inferior she is.

After he graduated Durmstrang, he finally moved to London to live with his father and stepmother. He got a job, and is attempting to get used to living in this country, though really, Lars is just unhappy that purebloods are thought so lowly of, and he is very intrigued by the Death Eaters as he agrees with their mission and hopes that they eventually come back and finish what they started.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? Lars was born and raised in Norway, and attended Durmstrang. Because of this, he is very blasé about the entire situation. He doesn't really care about what the Death Eaters did or didn't do. Particularly because he agrees with their cause. He is not happy with the treatment in general of purebloods in England, as he is a proud pureblood and that is something that he could be open and proud about in Norway, but something that causes some people to treat him differently here. However, most people do realize that he is from a different country, and are a little more trustworthy of him than others, or so he has figured.


How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? Lars was born in Norway, and it was because of this that he was not greatly affected by Voldemort or his reign. Of course, people in Norway and at Durmstrang were kept well aware of what was going on and watched cautiously in case the problems moved closer to them. But since it didn't, Lars and Klaus didn't feel very affected by this. Even if the problems had moved closer to home, it wouldn't have mattered as far as their safety was concerned, as they are believers in blood purity and agree with the mission that the Death Eaters and Voldemort were on.

Family History:

Frøya and Klaus met at Durmstrang, though they did not immediately get along. They both came from pureblood families, but did not run in the same circles necessarily. It was because of this that they didn't meant until their sixth year at Durmstrang. However, they eventually did begin to date, mostly at the request of their parents. They got married after not too long of dating, and they were expecting their first child very soon after. Sadly, Frøya had a very difficult time and died during childbirth. However, their son, Lars, did live.

Klaus did loved Frøya in his own way, as she was an acceptable witch and a pureblood, so he was at least upset about her death but glad that their son had survived. Although it was rather expected of him to remarry, he didn't for many years. It wasn't until 2010, when he met Oriana as she was vacationing in Norway. The pair dated and got married in the beginning of 2011. Klaus moved to England to be with her, though he really only accepts her as a beautiful trophy wife that he has done the favor of marrying, as her blood is not pure. He cares about her, in a sense, though makes sure she's aware constantly of his generosity in marrying her.
