Cordelia loved summer it meant she did not have to do anything. However her parents did not like the idea that she was not going to be working. She was old enough now, but Cordelia was not ready for a job she still was to childish, as in she was too wrapped up in her own world to be in a real would. Living on the border of Wales Cordelia loved that she lived so intertwined with Muggle life but with other members of her extended family being muggles she knew magic was always a thing she was careful talking about. But today she was going to be going to the tree house she was sick of her mouther yelling at her for not doing anything. She would try and sneak off if she could.
Getting up that morning she packed her bags and would be heading out for the day so she needed a few things to keep her entertained and to feed herself. She knew as soon as she got out she would get hungry. Walking down stairs Only her dad was up from the smell of coffee that had just been made and his office door was open at a jar. 'Morning dad' She said as she started putting food together that she was going to be taking with her. She got a muffled response but she did not mind he was busy with deadlines and such. When everything was done Cordelia told her dad she was going out for the day and left to the broom shed. Pulling out her broom she smiled. She could not wait, maybe she would see some people or not today but she did not mind it all added to the adventure. Hitting off and climbing through the clouds so she would not be seen by the towns fock she headed east towards the sea and the forest. Cordelia kept going in the chilly air till she got to the sand and descended. Landing she put her broom in a hole a bit in from the coast line. She would trek in part of her adventure. Pulling her back pack on and pushing her hair away she set off to her secret tree house.
