Character History:

Emira was born to Tristan and Alexandria Voss. The two had no other children, so all of the attention was on Emira, and she became sort of a diva. It was no surprise to the family that she displayed her magic as a toddler when she would randomly make her dolls float in midair. Emira was quite a smart girl, and always showed signs of being a bit of a manipulator. She would make promises to the kids at playgrounds in exchange to be in charge or for certain toys she wanted. Of course, she would find loopholes in the promises or never follow up on them. On the very shallow promises though that worked in her favor, she would usually go ahead and uphold them because they were easy.

Her Hogwarts letter arrived as expected on her eleventh birthday, and she was sorted into Slytherin just like her parents. School was mostly a breeze for Emira, not necessarily because she put fourth outstanding effort, but more so because she was able to charm so many into thinking she was a lovely girl. Her beauty and being the daughter of a former model certainly helped too. She put fourth effort, but didn't necessarily work harder than need be. A lot of professors cut her slack where they wouldn't other students. There were some though, like the headmistress, that found what she was doing to be very shallow and didn't fall for her games. Emira, however, thought she was rather clever and used her charm, beauty, and manipulation to her advantage. For example, she started shagging prefects, regardless of gender, in order to get away with breaking rules.

After graduation, Emira had no idea what she wanted to do. She hated the idea of doing some entry level job and insisted she was better than that, and she had the grades to prove it. After a month or so of sitting around home insisting that she was too good for any job the wizarding world had to offer, she decided to follow in her mom's footsteps and become a model.

With her personality and looks, Emira became a rather successful model. However, that still didn't allow her to escape the Ministry's questioning of purebloods. Regardless, her family had no involvement, and the Ministry didn't seem to keen on spending too much time interviewing someone who had a bit of publicity power.

Emira is still modeling, and she enjoys it. Although, she misses the power she used to have, and is constantly considering ways that she can get some of that power back.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? Depends on who is asking. Emira stands for whatever side of the argument is in her best interest. Being a pureblood herself, she can't say she likes the treatment of them. But then again, maybe some of the purebloods shouldn't have been so stupid to get wrapped up in Voldemort's whole blood supremacy.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? Well, now they have this whole stupid stigma that they are muggle hating purebloods. Other than that, not too much. Tristan and Alexandria were from pureblood families that did want to continue a pureblood line simply because not many were left, but didn't hate muggles or think any less of muggle borns. Tristan and Alexandria shared this philosophy, and honestly, they believed Voldermort would be defeated. If a baby could bring him down once, surely he could be stopped again. Voldermort's forces constantly tried to recruit the Voss family, and were frustrated that they wouldn't join the ranks of the death eaters. However, they were spared as Voldemort's followers wanted to keep purebloods where possible, and as long as they weren't openly trying to stop Voldemort, no one seemed to care.

Family History:
Tristan came from a long line of very charismatic and persuasive speakers. He was sorted into Slytherin, likely due to his cunning nature. After graduation, he knew he wanted to be in a well-to-do position, so he started to work in the ministry. His internship and history of family members working in the minstry helped him climb the rope fast. Various members of his family served as wizengamot members, and Tristan was eventually able to do this himself after being an obliviator. He was once the head of the department for improper use of magic, but has now started to phase into the background since he is getting older. He now works as just an employee in the office for improper use of magic, and he hates not being in a higher position.

Alexandria was a Slytherin too. She was a bit on the nicer side though, but she didn't mind using her looks to her advantage. She graduated and became a model. Once she became pregnant, she stopped and never really went back to work, although some people still remembered and recognized her.

While Tristan and Alexandria knew each other as they were only one year apart in school, they didn't really connect until after graduation when Tristan's department was dispatched to a wizarding party that was too close to muggle territory and some muggles saw some people flying on broomsticks. Alexandria was one of these people and she drunkenly told Tristan that he was being a buzzkill and slapped the man. Tristan decided not to do anything to the woman, but she came to him the next day at the ministry to apologize. Tristan, being impressed with how beautiful she was said he would forgive all if she would go on a date with him. She agreed, and apparently, it went really well because they got married two years later.
