Appearance and Personality
General Appearance: Raphael has a tanned complexion with black hair and deep sunken brown eyes. He is 5’11” tall and has an athletic build. He has very little facial hair keeping it to only a moustache at times. He’s overly confident only getting nervous in new situations and this is comes out when he scratches the back of his neck.

Character History:

Raphael and his twin brother Nicolo were born 10 years after their older Brother Micah. There were rather unexpected arrivals for their parents but they were loved all the same even if their father was a strong believer in purebloods ranking above everyone else and thus being a hard-line man. As a toddler and into his childhood Raphael loved to play with his toys, read books and go exploring at the family’s expansive property. It was here that his skill of recalling facts was first seen as he took his surrounds during his time exploring and remembered what saw such as plants and insects.

On their seventh birthday both twins started to finally show their magical powers. Their parents worried that both had been born as squibs and as such had brought shame to family. But thankfully they didn’t have to worry about that. With Micah away at Hogwarts at the time the battle took place their parents tried to educate both boys on what it meant to be a pureblood and the keep the bloodline as such and how other blood statues were inferior to them.

The following year Raphael celebrated his birthday on his own as a few months prior his twin was killed by a car swerving to the wrong side of the road on the rare occasion that the family had to venture into the muggle village close to their home.

When he got to Hogwarts, Raphael was sorted in Slytherin thought the hat also did consider him for Ravenclaw. He tried out for the quidditch team in his third year and was successful as a beater until he graduated. At school he had a few select friends mainly in his house and he did well in Transfiguration and DADA especially. It was here that he honed in an perfected his convincing skills.

The summer after he graduated Raphael went to visit his Grandparents in Naples this is where he befriend and dated a muggle born Italian witch for a short time before breaking it off because he felt like he had betrayed his family. He soon returned to England he started working in the ministry as part of invisibility task force.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? : Because of his upbringing and learning that Purebloods were supreme Raphael feels that current treatment of purebloods is certainly improper and it should be rectified. His family has acquaintances with some pureblood families to this day and he knows how hard it is for them and as such sympathises with them. For himself he still finds it hard in day to day life as some people normally assume that all purebloods are death eaters but due to his great convincing skills he's able to convince them otherwise.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? his family were followers of Voldemort but in an atypical fashion as they never outwardly said so or showed it, preferring to hide their allegiance instead. This meant that when Volemort perished they didn’t have much to lose in terms of money or status

Family History:
Benedict Bradford was born as the second son of Amos and Catherine, both coming from pureblood families. They lived in a manor near Luton where both their sons grew up and were homeschooled until they both started at Hogwarts. While at Hogwarts Benedict continued the family tradition and was in Slytherin. He excelled in Potions and had many friends; all of them being in the same house as him.

When he graduated he travelled for a year around Europe . while in Italy he met Gianna, they became friends having met at a function her family was hosting. Benedict returned to England and took up a post at his father’s business

Giana was the second child of Salvatore and Trista also both purebloods. She and her older brother grew up in the city of Naples before attending Beauxbatons. The summer before he last year at school she met Benedict and they formed a friendship fast. The year after she graduated her and her older brother moved to England as he gained employment there. she and Benedict got in contact and resumed their friendship before it flourished into something more and they eventually married and raised their family.
