Character History:
Jalek is the son of a Veela, and a pure-blood wizard. His parents met on his father's first mission, tracking down a rogue werewolf. He ended up saving her, but suffered a nasty scratch which has left a scar. His father still suffers temper issues on full moons, despite being normally calm and level headed. They were married shortly after. From a young age Jalek showed a knack for music, and begin learning the flute at the age of five, by ten he had all but mastered it. When he was eleven he decided to learn the guitar, and shortly after received his invitation to Hogwarts. In between his time studying and playing Quidditch, he continued to sing, play the flute, and learn the guitar. Over the past six years he did fairly well in almost all his courses, excelling in Defense Against the Dark Arts, and doing poorly in Potions. He keeps his flute and guitar with him at school. He first joined his house's Quidditch team in his second year, and just made starting seeker in his third year, due to his raw talent. He spent much of his summer practicing both Quidditch and dueling. The time he spent with his family on holiday is held warmly in his heart, but he feels more at home at Hogwarts due to all the time he has spent there. His accent has mostly dropped over time. While he loves flirting, and the fact that many girls will flirt with him, partially due to being part Veela, and partially due to being a seeker, he would like to find someone a bit challenging.
Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? He and his family, (His father, James, being an Auror) frown upon the actions of the Death Eaters. However, they are not happy that the Pure Bloods who are innocent are being persecuted as well.
How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? James had left the Ministry during the time in which the Death Eaters had been in control. He was later reinstated to his old position, and played a key role in helping to arrest many Death Eaters.

Family History:Both House Dronul and McCallister were descended from clans that had lived in Scotland since written history. Both became fairly well established families, and Dronul was known for turning out many Aurors. As such they were well respected, although with the fall of Voldemort, they like all other Pure families have face ridicule.

He is a skilled duelist due to his father, an Auror, teaching him how to fight, albeit without actually casting magic. When he is not busy studying or playing Quidditch he can often be found at the dueling club. He speaks both English and Gaelic.

Roleplay Sample
Jalek was excited when he saw his father's owl flying towards him with a long bundle. The owl flew overhead, dropping it into his readied arms. He eagerly unwrapped the paper cover, revealing a long polished oak box. He opened it, revealing the newest Firebolt model. He grinned, remembering the owl he sent his father telling him about how he had decided to sign up as seeker for the Gryffindor Quidditch team this year.
The issue is, he had never played an official game in his life. He also needed to break in his new broom. Stowing away the box, he carried it with him to the university's pitch and walked out onto the field. He mounted quickly, making sure to keep his body in the correct position. This model was one of the fastest, and could turn on a dime, but braking too fast, or leaning too much could cause it to flip and throw it's rider off in the blink of an eye.
He needed to be extremely careful. He sighed, readying himself, and shot into the air. He began performing some basic maneuvers, all the while increasing his speed slowly. At lower speeds he practiced tricks like the Wronski Feint.
