Summer was always quite the bore, but that was to be expected. Tinsley supposed she could have wasted away her good years by slaving away at some mediocre job earning money that would benefit her in the long run, but she found that just apparating to beaches and letting the blokes do all of the work was much more appealing. To her, it really never made a lick of sense why anyone her age, female, would waste their precious time on such mundane activities, as if they were afraid to ‘lower’ themselves to the level of getting what they wanted. To each their own, she figured, though that certainly wouldn’t be what she would subject herself to anytime soon. Merlin, she was still probably going to be doing the same thing after graduating that blasted poor excuse of a school, bidding her time until she married a bloke with enough wealth for her to just soak up the sun. It was a beautiful life she and her triplet lived, and it was certainly one she wouldn’t give up for the world…even if Sutton was busy doing who knows what today. Honestly, they lived in the same house and yet, Sutton was still late for meeting up with her…unless Tinsley got the time wrong, which was possible since even now, she wasn’t certain what time she was supposed to meet up with her sister.

Sighing, she made her way through the brightly lit park, the sun beating down heavily as the smell of freshly trimmed grass filled her nostrils. It was one of her favorite smells in the summer, but certainly one of the flavors she hated the most when it came to Bertie Bott’s. Her nose cringed slightly at the memory of when she had ate a bean with that flavor, finding it to be slightly distracting from the smell she once thoroughly enjoyed. Deciding to take a walk through the rather large park, the brunette sauntered through the trails, keeping her head straight and focused as she really hadn’t wanted to deal with any of the obnoxious children running about doing whatever it was that children even did. Finally, she came upon a quieter part of the park, much to her liking. The quidditch pitch always was quite the nice relaxant when the stands weren’t filled with pointless chatter that was bound to give anyone with a decent brain a headache. Humming to herself, she made her way up the stands, a trickle of sweat beating on the back of her neck when she finally arrived at the top. Plopping her bag down, she took a seat, closing her eyes as she lifted the sunglasses to the top of her head. Even if Sutton failed to show, whenever it was that they were supposed to meet up, at least Tinsley would get some sun to her already bronzing skin.

Jalek hovered in the air inside the pitch and pulled an old snitch from his pocket. He let it go, but it merely hovered in place. Why is it not moving... Ah! there it goes. Jalek shot after it like a bullet from a muggle gun, leaning forward to pick up the most speed. The snitch took him through all shorts of maneuvers, a few of which nearly threw him, due to his new broom. After what felt like only a couple moments he began gaining speed on it, the closer he got the more erratic it became, at last his fingers were but a few inches. He took a risk. He stood, barely balanced on the foot rests, launching his upper body forwards and snatched up the snitch. He began to pitch downwards, rocketing towards the ground at frightening speed. He just barely got back into place, when he pulled out of the dive, merely a few feet off the ground before flying back up to his starting position. He was oblivious of the girl reaching the top of the stands. He checked his time and prepared to go again.

Her eyes hadn’t been closed long before her ears were picking up on the sounds of a person being around. Opening one eye first and then the next, she slid her sunglasses back into place before her eyes focused on a bloke not too far away. A slow smirk spread across her features as she took a moment to recognize the familiar figure as the seeker of her house’s Quidditch team. He was attractive, that much she could graciously acknowledge about the younger bloke. Her eyes watched him momentarily, finding the sight to be quite the better view than soaking in a bit of sun. She figured she would watch him go another round of practice before calling him over for a bit of entertainment on that humid day.

Jalek readied himself and released the snitch. He waited a split second to let it shoot off and gave chase. This time his broom was responding a bit better, and he was able to almost match the snitch's wild movements. Suddenly it dove straight down and as he tried to follow, a sharp gust of wind knocked him upside down to quickly to hold on. He scrabbled for his wand as he began to fall. "Ascendio!" He cried out, his words lost to the air roaring around him. He felt something slip in through the neck of his shirt and hit him in the chest. He managed to time himself just right to grab onto his broom with one hand. He struggled to pull himself up and puled the object out of his shirt. By pure, blind, death deifying luck, he had managed to catch the snitch in nearly half his original time. He grinned and got ready to release the snitch again. He needed to get use to the balance if he wanted to use this faster model in an actual match.

This scene was far more amusing and interesting than Tinsley had originally thought. Seekers, she knew, had a habit of certain antics through the games played, occasionally being rather showy. Figuring that the bloke hadn’t seen her, as clearly he would have come over if he had, Tinsley wondered if he were just clumsy. It was an interesting mix, being both clumsy and a successful quidditch player, but if he were the seeker, then clearly there was a reason. Amusement was clearly seen on her features as an eyebrow shot up at the scene, the smirk never leaving her features. “Oi, is that how you plan on winning our games next season?” Tinsley called out to her housemate teasingly when he appeared to be readying himself for another release of the snitch. An amused smile was on her face, indicating her joking as she watched Dronul carefully. He was a good seeker, that much Tinsley had known from the games she had attended, but beyond that, she wasn’t so certain she knew all that much about the boy. Tinsley crossed one leg over the other as she waited to see if he would fly over or if he was going to continue giving her a nice show to watch, not that she was complaining in the slightest with someone as attractive as he was. It was the summer; it wasn’t as if she had anywhere in particular to be.

Jalek turned towards the voice and laughed, "Nay, jus' breakin' n my new broom!" He cracked his neck and grinned wickedly at the gorgeous girl. He flew right at her at full speed, pulling into a nearly vertical climb at the last second. He veered off to the right and preformed a high speed loop before whizzing between the stands. He once more rocketed skywards before standing on the foot rests and back flipping off, diving right for the girl. His hand latched on to the broom and he flipped himself back on, once more standing on the footrests. He slowed as he flew over the girl again and back flipped off, landing agilely on the row of seats behind her.

A smile was easily displayed on the young Gryffindor’s face as she listened to her housemate’s response, amused. Perhaps Sutton being tardy, or herself being early as she still wasn’t even certain of when they were actually supposed to meet up, was a good thing. It certainly was working out well as Tinsley received some nice eye candy of a bloke that deserved to be in a bloody magazine or something. A piece of her hair flew loose as she watched with a quirked eyebrow the bloke fly towards her. Not one to act like she were actually nervous in the slightest, she remained still as he came closer before laughing as he pulled up at the precise moment that he should have. Not only did she get to soak up some sun, but she also was able to get a show as the boy was clearly trying to show off, not that she minded. Her eyes followed his movement closely, the smile never leaving her face before she turned slightly to watch as he did a back flip off his broom and onto the stands. “Breaking in your new broom, eh?” she asked, laughing lightly with a small shake of her head. “Do you show off for all the girls or only the pretty ones?” Tinsley joked, smiling wide.
