Appearance and Personality
General Appearance: Average height, 1.72 m. She's slender with an athletic build and toned arms. Her skin is naturally amber but the lack of exposure to sunlight and poor health makes her look pale. Her hair brown and kept short to her chin with bangs, it's convenient so she often doesn't brush it.
Her brown eyes are framed with long lashes and rest on bags caused by many sleepless nights. She covers a small scar running from the corner of her left eye to her ear with some foundation and paints her lips a soft coral red.
She has scars on her arms, shoulders and upper legs from where she dug her claws into her skin so she never wears short sleeves, shorts or skirts.
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Skills: Street wise. Fast runner and good at protecting herself without magic, good at catching whispers on the streets and finding out what's happening around her. Pretty decent at potions.
Weaknesses: She's bad at Charms and Transfiguration, anything that requires good control of one's magic.
Positive Personality Traits: Quiet, loyal, cunning, survival-oriented, very social with people she considers friends.
Negative Personality Traits: Very suspicious, finds it difficult to get to know people and smalltalk is definite no-go, quick-tempered, holds grudges and is pretty vengeful.
Hobbies and Interests: Loves history, anything new is a treasure so she's a frequent customer at Flourish and Blotts. Scouring the shelves for new history tomes whenever she has enough money. Works our a lot; goes running and does strength exercises as well as she can with no equipment.
Character History:
Cassandra, preferably Cass, Mahone is a halfblood witch born to a muggleborn witch called Miranda and a halfblood wizard called Isaac. Miranda was a healer and Isaac worked at a breeder of magical animals.
From a young age she showed quite a penchant for sports and listening to stories. Her parents loved her more than anything in the world and did their best to keep her as happy as they could. Unfortunately, she was bitten by a werewolf at the age of eight. They'd gone camping and the little girl had wandered off in the night to go to the loo. At her pained screams her parents ran to her rescue and, in their desperation, killed the werewolf. They hid the body and kept her lycanthropy a secret, Miranda tending to her wounds with powdered silver and dittany.
After the bite, Cass' life changed drastically. She didn't play outside with other children anymore, she was homeschooled -both for primary school and magical education- using the excuse of poor health, and she barely had any contact with her little brother anymore.
Every month her parents would give her a dose of the Draught of Living Death and chain her up in the basement. As she grew older, the lycanthropy made it so that the Draught had less and less effect until, at the age of fifteen, she didn't fall asleep at all and she changed just as painfully as any other werewolf on the full moon.
Cass got her OWLs and NEWTs but she didn't plan to do anything with them. It wouldn't be safe. As an unregistered werewolf, if anyone grew suspicious it would land all four of them in Azkaban. When she finished her schooling at home she left her parents' home and got a one bedroom apartment in London. Her parents pass her some money every month, understanding that she can't get a job that pays well, and she picks up little jobs here and there, making most of her money by pickpocketing tourists in central London.
Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? Cass doesn't know what to think, really. On the one side, their treatment is disgusting -she hears things, other werewolves talk and she spends enough time in Knockturn Alley to know not all is as the Ministry says- but on the other side, she isn't really too sympathetic to actual Death Eaters. They treated werewolves very badly too and if they had their way, werewolves wouldn't be treated any different than they are now.
How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? Cass' mother was a muggleborn so she and Isaac went into hiding as soon as he came into power, taking little Cass, who was three at the time, with them. At his downfall, a year later, they came back and resumed their lives. Cass never really noticed too much, being as young as she was, but she always remembers her mother crying as they left their house.
Family
Parents: Miranda, Muggleborn, is a healer. Isaac, half blood, is a magical creatures breeder. Mostly Pegasi. They love her very much but they don't keep in touch for their own safety, Cass won't let them. They send her money through the muggle post every month though and they exchange cards on the holidays.
Siblings: One brother, currently in Hogwarts, called Matthew. He's in fifth year, seven years her younger, in Gryffindor. They have almost no contact and while she's very fond of him, he is completely neutral of her. He loves her, as she's his sister, but he thinks she's an unemployed lazy bum who takes advantage of their parents' love.

Family History:Isaac was a third year Ravenclaw when Miranda was sorted into his house. A muggleborn girl from his same hometown, he helped her mingle in magic society and they studied random topics in the summers. When he finished school he got a cottage some ways away from the breeder he'd interned with and started working there. Miranda started her Healer training three years later and she was sent sometimes to collect ingredients for potions at the breeder's. Even though they'd kept writing to each other, seeing each other again made them develop a sizeable crush and a year later -after a lot of awkward dating- they got married.
While their first child brought about a lot of complications, they loved her unconditionally anyway. Their second child, Matthew, tends to be judgemental but they do their best to keep him open to the idea of his sister being a werewolf, should Cass ever wish to tell him.

Roleplay Sample
Cass pulled her hood up further over her head, shielding herself from the rain, if only a bit. Trafalgar Square was nearly empty on days like this, but the underground wasn't.
Going down the stairs on the one side she let herself be pushed by the crowd until she was just passing a group of tourists by the ticket office. Quick as lightning her hand shot out as she passed and she sneaked a thin wallet out of a and jacket pocket and then made her way through the crowd quickly, climbing her way out of the stairs on the station's other side and back into the rain.
In the wallet she found a couple of fifty pound notes which she shoved into her jeans pocket before heading to a guard and handing him the nearly empty wallet, claiming she'd found it in the underground. Not completely true, but oh well.
From there she ran back through the rain, on her way to Diagon Alley. Gringotts changed pounds to galleons without a fuss, normally, and the rain made her have a hankering for butterbeer.
