Character History:

Growing up, Mila was emotionally, mentally, and physically abused by her easily angered father. He refused her to go out unless she had an escort, which was hardly ever. When she was 11, she received her Hogwarts letter. The only reason she was allowed to go was because her parents saw it as less time with her during the year, not really wanting her around.

The summer following Mila’s third year of Hogwarts, her mother was killed by her father and she was left to witness the tragedy. Clyde had killed Audra while he was a mix of being high and drunk, wanting to show his manliness to his friends that were in the house. Clyde was caught and imprisoned for a few years until being released very recently. The entire time he was in prison, he hadn’t talked to Mila as she refused to get involved in his life. Just before he was released, he began to write to Mila again, actively pursuing custody of her. Now, he is released, and still pushing for custody of her, writing her many letters.

Mila presently lives with her uncle on her mother’s side who doesn’t really like her all that much. Her Uncle Desmond blames her for the death of his sister, but he took her in for the sake of his sister who loved her daughter, even if she had an odd way of showing it. Desmond is a work-a-holic, so he’s never really home when she is, focusing solely on his work and gambling. Desmond despises magic and wants nothing to do with that part of her life, but he allows her to go so that he doesn’t have to see or take care of her.

During her attendance at Hogwarts, Mila is rather reserved, not having anyone she would even remotely call an acquaintance. She’s really too selfish to care about anyone outside of herself and finds relationships rather pointless. She seduces to get what she wants, generally. During her sixth year, around the holidays, Mila bumped into Finn Harlow, a fellow student who had much of the same viewpoints as she did. They quickly formed a Friends with Benefits relationship which hasn’t exactly turned out the way either of them wanted, finding that they annoyingly cared about each other. Finn is quite possibly the only person that Mila cares about in the world and she is impatiently waiting to stop caring about the bloke.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? It doesn’t affect her any. She’s not a death eater, nor is she the family of one. If they don’t like how they’re treated, then they can do something about it as she’s really not going to get her hands dirty over people that don’t matter to her.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? She finds that she wasn’t in the slightest. She hadn’t been born yet and she couldn’t care less about who Voldemort was or the destruction he caused.

Family History:

Audra was a 17-year-old sweetheart when she met Clyde (age 23) through her friend’s older brother and they hit it off. Shortly after, Audra moved in with Clyde against her family’s wishes. A couple of years after, Audra found herself pregnant with their first child out of wedlock. Clyde had wanted her to get rid of the inconvenience, but Audra convinced him to allow her to keep the baby.

Clyde was abandoned at a church when he was an infant, getting placed into Foster Care. He didn’t really get along with the other kids, frustrated that he wasn’t getting adopted. He had moved between 12 different foster homes within 18 years of being in their custody. His only friend during this time with another boy named Sam who had lived in a few of the homes with him, also bouncing around. Clyde began to fight on the streets, earning money so that he could actually start to live. He found that his anger was easily placed into the fights, doing extraordinarily well, hardly ever losing a fight. Many years on the streets hardened him from whatever good traits he did have, completely turning towards his wicked nature.
