Appearance and Personality
General Appearance: Finn is loud. People can hear him coming long before he walks into a room, and look his way when they do. He is very confident and doesn't show worry outwardly, though it is very rare that he is nervous at all. His defense mechanism is rudeness and anger, though that's not much of a change from his normal personality, so it is hard to tell the difference. He is 5'10" and muscular, with light brown hair and blue eyes.

Character History:

Finn grew up with his mother as his only family, watching her go from bloke to bloke trying to keep them slightly protected from the bad area that they lived. They spent a majority of his childhood living on the streets, and if they ever did have an apartment to live in, it was provided by her mother's man of the month and didn't last long. In order to survive living on the streets, Finn had to pick-pocket and do whatever he could to attempt to find food for him and his mother, including shoplifting, obviously. It was at one point after Finn was heading home with some food he'd shoplifted that Finn was jumped by several blokes in the neighborhood and beaten half to death that he realized what he needed to do to survive.

Over the next couple years, he began to work for the gangs doing odd jobs, and eventually got into a street fighting circle that provided almost all of his income at this point. Even when he went to Hogwarts, which he only did for steady meals and a place to sleep, he still came home over most holidays to get more work in. He has never lost a fight in these street fights, giving him a hell of a reputation in his neighborhood as well, which provides him with more money per fight. Fighting in this circle, along with his other work, has given him enough money to be able to avoid rent on a horrible apartment in London for him and his mother, though it obviously gets the job done.

Because of his very rough personality, made from a life on the streets, Finn does not have a good reputation at all at Hogwarts, as his temper often gets the best of him and he finds himself in trouble often and in many fights. When he isn't getting in trouble for fighting, he's getting in trouble for drinking or whatever else he's able to find. To him, the thought of trying to act like everyone else in the school to remain under the radar never even occurred to him, though his personality is obviously toned down from how he has to be on the streets. It was during his sixth year that he met Mila, and they began a friends with benefits type relationship. However, annoyingly, as this progressed and as they accidentally learned more about each other, they determined that they actually cared about each other, which isn't something that Finn had wanted. Caring about others was not something that he needed to waste his time on, as far as he was concerned. But they had determined to just got their 'relationship' off cold turkey at the end of the year, when they both have to go home to their respective shitty lives.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? Finn actually couldn't care less about this if he tried. In his opinion, it's all completely irrelevant to his life, which is all that he thinks matters at the end of the day, since people really just need to look after themselves. If he was in the situation, he would sort it out, but as he isn't, it's not his problem.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? He had no idea about the Wizarding World until he got his Hogwarts letter, which meant he had no idea about the reign or death of Voldemort. If he did know about it, he really wouldn't care much one way or another, as he doesn't care about much of anything, let along anything at all having to do with the Magical world.

Family History:

Jeremias was a Muggleborn, went to Hogwarts, and was sorted into Slytherin. He didn't particularly like the Wizarding World, simply seeing it as a way to get away from his family. He had incredibly rich parents but he really disliked the constrictions they put on him. Because of that, he was content to do nothing after Hogwarts but spend his parents' money, which eventually ended as he got into drugs and the bad scenes he often found himself in. They eventually cut him off, and it was around that time that he met Shannon. They had a brief six month fling, but he grew bored, as always, and continued on with whatever it was he felt like doing. At this point, that was leaving the country and doing nothing in other places for a while. He never told Shannon that he was a wizard, since he was happy to leave that world behind, and never got back in contact with her when he heard that she was pregnant.

Shannon grew up in an incredibly bad area of London, where most people don't come out of alive unless they know how to live. She learned quickly what it took to keep herself alive at that point, latching onto bloke after bloke after Finn was born in an attempt to find someone to protect them. However, once Finn was old enough to do that himself, she relied on him to bring in income and food. If he wasn't around, more than likely she would starve as she has simply become too lazy and too used to others doing the work for her.
