General Appearance: Evan is a very confident, bordering on arrogant, bloke and this is easy to tell by everything about his appearance. He walks confidently, and doesn't rush for anyone. He is 6' and muscular, with messy, light brown hair and blue eyes.

Weaknesses: Trying to change his ways isn't easy for him, and the low respect for women that he's had all his life isn't something that has been easy to change overnight, simply because it's been all he has known. Trying to figure out how to be an actual boyfriend, or friend.

Character History:

Evan does not remember his parents, as he was only five years old when they died. What he knows of them, since his aunt does not tell him much either, was that his mother was a witch and his father was a Muggle. His legal guardian is his aunt, his mother's sister, and she had been relatively estranged from them, hence her reluctance to take him in when his parents died. Although he does not remember his parents, he vaguely remembers his nanny, who was the biggest mother figure in his life. This is because his parents were both too busy with work to be home from what he can remember, as they hadn't wanted kids to begin with either. Evan and his aunt do not get along, and although this is now mutual, it wasn't at first. As a five year old, of course he wanted his aunt's love and attention, but it only ever failed. He grew hardened in time, not caring about her just as equally as she doesn't about him, and does not attempt conversation with her unless necessary.

Because of how he grew up and how strained his relationship was with his parents, and then his aunt, he is not a person that thinks relationships are at all necessary in life. He has known and thought that for as long as he can remember, which is the reason for his uncaring and manipulative personality. For the longest time at Hogwarts, he had no friends, and a different girl every month or week, depending on how quickly he got sick of them. It was pretty much repeating the cycle for a time, being brought up to not care, and repeating the same lack of love and affection on the bints in his life.

This didn't seem like it was going to change anytime soon, even when he met a new bint. He was prepared for Isabella to be just like the rest of them, even when it proved more difficult to shag her than Evan had thought it would be. However, he thought it would be worth it, simply because she was clearly not over another bloke and was in the relationship for the wrong reasons too. But he soon found his facade occasionally dropping around her, and finding that he actually was starting to care about her. Because that was something that he deemed unacceptable, he set up where he knew that Isabella would break up with him, which was successful.

Unfortunately, even though Isabella did begin dating the original bloke she was trying to get over, she apparently wouldn't give up on trying to be his friend and because of that, he found himself with no bint and two friends, as apparently being friends with Isabella meant being friends with Cecilia as well. Eventually he accepted this, simply because he supposed there was no harm in two friends.

He did not know what to do when Isabella's family died, but he did know what not to do from how people treated him after his parents had died. Although Isabella tried to push him away, it proved unsuccessful, and the pair began to date again. Evan is still not exactly used to even having friends, and is unsure that he even knows how to date someone for real, but since he has accepted that caring about people is sometimes bloody inevitable, he's decided to give it a shot.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? He never got to experience the Death Eaters' crimes firsthand, but he understands the concept of paying for ones' crimes. However, he doesn't see why families are being treated poorly as well, since they didn't necessarily do anything. He remained relatively neutral in all of it, not bothering himself with it at all, but that was until his girlfriend's family was killed by radicals simply for being pureblooded. Now he is more angry by the treatment of them all, seeing that they just want people to be pissed at, even if they've done nothing wrong.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? Although he was not apart of the Wizarding World for the reign of Voldemort, since he wasn't born yet, nor was he even born for the defeat of the man, he does not have a personal reaction to this. He is glad that he isn't apart of a Wizarding World that has that kind of conflict, and is glad that it is over now, but he also isn't stupid enough to not realize that history has a way of repeating itself and knows that it's possible something like that could happen again.

Family History:

Wes was a Muggle, and a very respected doctor in his respective field. Deanna was a witch, though she had chosen to take a Muggle career path and became a doctor as well. This was because she was interested in becoming a healer eventually, but wanted to see how Muggles did things to see if there was anything at all that could be learned. This is where she met Wes, and they dated for two years before getting married. They had no plans to get pregnant or have any kids. With both of their busy professions, they hardly had time for each other, let alone a child.

However, accidents happen, and that was exactly what they considered Evan. They immediately hired a nanny so that having a child would not affect them trying to rise up in their professions. This worked, and they found that they hardly even had to spend time with the child, but their prominence in their fields was growing. That was until their son was five years old, where the pair of them died in a plane crash on their way to a medical conference.

Custody of Evan was granted, albeit reluctantly and really almost unwillingly, to Deanna Boone, who was only twenty-seven at the time. Since she was single, and a bit of a workaholic in her own right, she was not happy about the situation. But, she also immediately fired the nanny that had raised Evan since birth, which was not easy for the five-year old to take. Deanna had never wanted children, either, never even really planning on getting married let along procreating. This made her extremely bitter, especially since she'd had no idea that her sister had put her down to take custody in an event something happened. After all, Abigail knew that Deanna didn't want children, and this was just irritating for the woman to contemplate. She raised Evan, giving him what he needed but not affection or anything of the sort. She was glad when he got his Hogwarts letter, knowing that she would be able to get rid of him for many months out of the year, but of course made the eleven year old go to Diagon Alley alone to get his supplies, not that that was something that Evan was unused to by that time.

Now, she is at least slightly happier that she doesn't have to care for her nephew, and she is certainly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel since his graduation is approaching soon enough.
