General Appearance: Dorian has brown eyes and dark hair, and he stands at 5’10, 180 lbs. He is rather muscular, taking fitness very seriously. Dorian walks very confidently although due to his slightly suspicious nature, he also looks around a lot at his surroundings—which can make him look nervous, when really he just likes being aware of everything around him.

Character History:

Dorian was sorted into Gryffindor while at Hogwarts, just like his sister was several years late. He had a lot of friends while at school and a large list of girlfriends, and was always getting into trouble. He was never the responsible one and although he was protective of his sister, he never felt the need to really take care of her too much because he knew she could fend for herself.

It was during his sixth year that he had a very fortunate run-in with the well-known Gemma Prescott, starting to date her the day they met. Although their relationship began with wrong motives, he quickly found out that he cared about her and actually liked her, their relationship lasting a few years, even beyond Hogwarts. However, after one of their many arguments, their relationship came to a sudden and horrible end, both parties leaving dissatisfied. They hadn’t talked for a bit before they finally rekindled their relationship without much work. Their friendship was stronger than ever, even though many of their mutual friends were against their friendship, trying to tell them that they were better off dating again. That had seemed like a horrible idea to Dorian as they only ever argued when together.

After his birthday party in 2014, they ended up drinking a bit too much and going a bit too far, complicating their simple relationships. Soon afterwards, they started dating again, both more mature this time around and hoping that the relationship would be a success. So far, they hadn’t gotten in any big arguments yet, so Dorian considers that a great success.

After Amaris was bitten, shortly after she graduated, he became a bit more responsible and stood by his sister’s side when their parents didn’t. His life kind of focused around that for a while. She had registered with the Ministry but then she disappeared shortly after. He spent his time off of work trying to find her before he finally located her in Thailand and made her come back home.

Although she was reluctant, she did come home and stayed with him. He really didn’t want her to go through this time alone, wanting his sister back from before the incident. Now, Dorian works as a Hit-wizard, finding it important to be involved in protecting people the best that he could. He is also employed by the Department for the Regulatino & Control of Magical Creatures, the Beast Division, in the hopes that he could make a difference for his sister.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? He firmly believes that death eaters should suffer the consequences of their actions, though he isn’t all that supportive of what the Ministry is doing. At the same time, he is understanding of politics and is wondering if they really are doing what’s best for the community. Though, he doesn’t agree with punishing their families if their families were innocent.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? Dorian and his family had been relieved at Voldemort’s death, though Dorian himself hadn’t even begun Hogwarts yet. The family lived in the Wizarding world and remained a bit separate from it for a while. Their parents told Dorian and his sister enough so that they were cautious, but they hadn’t really known the extent of the situation. They were not greatly affected by his reign, firsthand at least, but they were relieved nonetheless when he was defeated.

Family History:

Violetta had a normal pureblood upbringing in the magical world, though her family was ones considered blood traitors due to their sympathies with Muggles and their curiosity about them. She was sorted into Ravenclaw, and was especially curious about the Muggle world. Upon graduation, she went out to live in the Muggle world to see what it would be like. It was there that she met Declan, a Muggle businessman.

They dated for almost four years before getting married, and soon after had their first child, Dorian. Since Violetta had moved to the Muggle world to get away from magic for a while, she didn't tell Declan about magic until Dorian began showing signs of it. It was then that she revealed her secret, which he was obviously very surprised by. It wasn't something that he was able to wrap his head around and accept immediately, but he eventually came to terms with this world that he had never known about before.

Five years later, Amaris was born. They were an ordinary family, really, though Dorian and Amaris bickered a lot more than normal siblings did. This was mostly due to both of their extremely stubborn personalities. Although they clearly loved each other, they were not close siblings and were fighting almost constantly.

That all changed when Amaris got bitten. Her parents did not accept her afterwards, holding the same stereotypes about werewolves that the majority of the magical world did. When Amaris left town, it was Dorian that tried to track her down, even though it took several years.
