General Appearance: Miles presents himself as confident, yet approachable, though he is anything but. He has an air about him that is a natural leader. He stands at 6’1, athletic body build. He really doesn’t have any nervous ticks, able to uphold himself as if he is knowledgeable about any situation. Miles feigns a slight limp in his leg, using it as a means to appear less than he really is.

Character History:

Miles was born to Talbert and Caleigh, the oldest of six siblings. He had been sorted in Slytherin, as well as his other brothers, all already firmly in the belief that they were better than the Half-bloods and Muggleborns. As the oldest child, Miles spent much of his time studying and learning, preparing to lead his brothers in the way that they should be…powerful. Power was the only thing that mattered and any of his good traits disappeared by the time he was 14, wickedness settling in his heart. Though, he really never had anything good, empathy and sympathy being far from something he understood. When he was 14, the First Wizarding War broke out, though he couldn’t really do much because of his age. He eagerly watched the happenings, joining the ranks as a Death Eater when he graduated Hogwarts, using his father’s connections.

Voldemort hadn’t trusted him, obviously, and he hadn’t trusted Voldemort. He was irritated that they were taking orders from a mere half-breed, though he was thankful that the mutt was fighting for the right cause. Miles joined Voldemort’s inner circle, taking an active part in murdering whatever Muggle he came across, no mercy to be seen. Children, babies, handicap…it hadn’t mattered who, just that they were a disease that needed to be gone. Miles was very good at keeping under the radar, no one knowing that he had joined the inner circle, not even his own father. Secrecy, he found, was highly important to the cause and his survival. His survival was the only thing that mattered so that he could take down those who hadn’t belonged in their world.

In 1980, Miles married some pureblooded witch by the name of Adalie, seeing her only as a means to have children. They had three children together, two of which were male. His two sons had helped fight in the war, surviving, of course. However, he sees his family as only a means to an end, pushing on the blood purity for the future.

When Voldemort fell, Miles lost two brothers and his father, whom he just saw as weak as they failed against weakness. He was pulled aside, along with his three remaining brothers, to face trial and then punishment. All three brothers, as well as Miles’ two sons, daughter, and his wife, were set up on the Work Release Program, some ridiculous program set by traitors and filth, claiming that it would help ease them back into society. This was quite the joke to Miles, though he was able to use this to his advantage. Because of his naturally charismatic and personable personality, he was able to manipulate many of his “co-workers”, feeding off of the poor treatment they were receiving.

In 2007, Miles was sent to a Work Camp in Knockturn Alley, finding this to be rather amusing as the Ministry was merely helping him grow his numbers without even realizing it. Every decision they made was seemingly helpful, much to his gratefulness.

It wasn’t until after some Minister started doing shady things with purebloods that Miles saw his opening to take control. It was 2009 when he began to recruit members towards his cause, playing on any button that he could to convince people that his side was the better side. Fear was not something he wanted to rule with, but he wanted actual followers, seeing that ruling by fear seemed to make Voldemort fail. His ultimate plan is to overthrow the Ministry and put out the disease.

Plots and Politics
Where does your character stand in the treatment of death eaters and their families? Miles highly believes that pure bloods are “better” than muggles in every way. Magic has been getting corrupted by the filth of this world and he is a full supporter in righting this evil that has been occurring under the sun. The treatment of death eaters and their families, pure bloods included, is absolutely appalling, the mutts of this world thinking that they are powerful enough to take control.

How was your character and their family affected by the reign and death of Voldemort? Miles parents were both death eaters of Voldemort, his father being in the close inner circle as he had begun to follow him in his school days. Miles was 14 when the First Wizarding War began, having his father and mother being actively involved in that war. His mother had perished during one of the attacks, though that hadn’t affected his family too much. He and his brothers were in full support of Voldemort and his reign, following in his father’s footsteps in the purity belief. The “death” of Voldemort in 1981 affected them even more as Talbert, his father, focused his attention on training his children to be the next generation to take control. When Voldemort came back officially in 1995, the brothers and their father went back to serving him, preparing to take down this world once and for all. Two of his brothers and his father perished during the final war, leaving only himself and three of his other brothers. All three were punished and are still getting punished.

Family History:

Talbert was in the same year and house as the young Tom Riddle, though he had not befriended the bloke as that was not in his nature. There was hardly a need for friends unless he could have gotten something out of the relationship, obviously. He was pureblood and was bred into the belief that he was better than the others that were merely half-blood and muggle-born as they were, as he had heard, diseased. Having them at the school was a contamination that needed to be rid and he acted that way in school. To his disappointment, there was no one worthy enough to lead their people into domination, bringing back their earned and deserved power, taking it away from the frauds. Magic, he was taught, was for the privileged and Muggles were NOT privileged.

It was during his time at Hogwarts that he had realized the potential that Riddle had, joining his gang. There had been something…unique and dangerous about the bloke, something that, despite his lack of blood purity, stood out to snakes, seeing that this was someone who was going to lead the revolt, ridding the world of the corruption. Riddle would tell others that he was friends with Talbert, though Riddle cared very little for him, using him for doing his dirty work. Though, Talbert really hadn’t minded, seeing the greater good of this situation…even if he had to act a slave for a while to see the bugs destroyed.

During his fifth year, a monster was on the loose during school, the fat Muggle-lover, Hagrid, being blamed for such horrors. He hardly saw the truth in that, quickly noticing the benefit of having such a beast roaming the halls. Talbert had a nagging feeling that this deed was due to Riddle, though he never approached the bloke about the information until years later.

After Hogwarts, Talbert followed Riddle, becoming one of his first death eaters, fully in support of his reign. However, it had been a few years that he hadn’t seen his ex-Slytherin roommate, as Riddle travelled in search of more knowledge. Soon, the Dark Lord, previously Tom Riddle, took his reign, gaining supporters, to which Talbert was already a part of, willing to do what was necessary to fight the evil of this world.

When Talbert was 29, he married a woman by the name of Caleigh, someone he had gone to school with. This marriage was not out of love, but out of keeping the bloodlines pure. They gave birth to their first child a year later, ending with six children, all boys, much to Talbert’s and Caleigh’s gratitude.

Talbert was 44 when the First Wizarding War began, working alongside the creatures to destroy the wickedness. When Talbert was 55, the Dark Lord fell, destroyed by a mere child, much to his great disappointment. Talbert used this time to continue to train his children in the ways of evil and wickedness in the hopes that they could one day lead the way, protecting the wizarding world from the disease that Muggles brought to it.

Caleigh hadn’t had much in her childhood, the only child of her pureblooded family. This had not settled well with her parents as she was merely a woman, but they thankfully brought her up well, leading her to believe others less than her due to her bloodline. Marrying a bloke that was a pureblood was the only thing that made sense to her. Running into Talbert, he proposed, and they married shortly after, no reason in waiting to start a family to push on the purity.
