Las Ramblas

This is a central street in Barcelona, popular for tourists but locals as well. It is tree-lined, and a pedestrian street. There are many restaurants and shops along the road. It can be crowded, particularly during tourist season, and as such is a popular place for pickpockets. A trip to Barcelona isn't complete without going to Las Ramblas once or twice though; after all, a Spanish poet once said it was the only street in the world he wishes would never end.
