REGARDING FALL 2018 TERM
CLASSES BEGIN OCTOBER 22ND
Epidemic X has taken a great deal from a great number. However, it is time for us to move forward as best we can in this changed world. Both staff and student body have lost much due to this illness. Many are left without any capacity to perform magic. However, physical health does seem to be returning to the majority of those who have contracted this illness. As such, Lufkin University will be reopening its doors. Classes will begin on Monday, October 22nd.CLASSES BEGIN OCTOBER 22ND
For this Fall 2018 term, a limited schedule of classes will be offered and the school year calendar has been modified. To make up for time lost, fall break has been canceled. Class time slots have also been extended by fifteen minutes per lecture period. Exams schedules have not been modified.
Students residing in Grogan Stump House may return to campus beginning today, October 15th.
Students who no longer have magical capacity may no longer participate in programs requiring practical magic. This includes Spell Invention, Potionlogy, Alchemy, and Wandmaking. Students are encouraged to pursue general education requirements or enroll in another program until healers are able to reverse the long term effects of Epidemic X.
