He's the one who sees to it that his siblings are getting along, that they relax. With his older sisters, he makes them remember to eat, to take care of themselves, jokes them into better, less obsessive moods.
With his younger siblings, he's kind and caring, another parental figure-- usually the more gentle one. Family's about everything's to him.

He moved to the UK with his sisters, mother, and Stepdad Number Two when he was roughly nine, so he's still got a Brooklyn accent. Because his father's unknown and his mother's muggle, he's generally assumed to be Muggleborn, like Medea Giovana Stone . His magic was officially discovered when he was upset about Medea having magic and getting to go someplace else, and curtains got set on fire.

He was sent to Kolna with Medea, and he went missing for a few months and presumed dead. He'd been turned into a werewolf, and somehow survived it. He's told his sisters, and now he's back at Hogwarts because he figured it was the best way to continue to care for his siblings.

He's fluent in ASL and BSL, as he's had to learn them for his younger siblings. He's a Nice Kid, always concerned about others, and he's better at some coping mechanisms than his sisters since he didn't experience abuse by their last stepfather.
