She would have a lot to figure out later, once this unfortunate conversation had come to an end. Although figuring out if there was anyway out of the situation that worked in her benefit was the first thing that needed to be done, Cecilia found that it was almost equally important to figure out just how he came across this information. He didn’t really check bloody marriage records and birth certificates, after all, though she knew that people could find out that way—which was a risk enough as it was as far as the information getting out. Of course, it wasn’t as if it was top secret by any means; her mother had been married to him for a fair span of time, and there were obviously people around that knew that. Just not really all that many of them, since it had seemed safer to keep that information relatively concealed. But Trey had to have found out through different means, and now she was contemplating writing her father back just to find out. The thought alone was bloody ridiculous; she’d been ignoring his letters for months for a reason, and Trey wasn’t going to be any reason for her to finally talk to him. That would just be … another awful side effect to this situation, but one that she actually had control of. She could always ask her mother… no, that was bloody ridiculous as well. Her mother wasn’t in contact with her father in any case, and that would just start shit with Klaus.

Cecilia kept her face impassive as he approached her again, and she had been right in just how pleased he was with himself. Her eyes followed him cautiously as he moved, though she found herself irritated and unsurprised that he’d chosen to sit on the coffee table in front of her. She told herself to apparently get used to it, since it was annoyingly something that would be happening in this type of situation. Even though obviously he wasn’t getting shagging out of this arrangement, Cecilia knew that people that dated had to be able to be near-ish each other without her looking like she wanted to smack him. Although she had half a dozen remarks in mind about his ridiculous statement in acting like a proper gentleman, none of which she could say right now without her thinking he’d just go off and tell Roman and take back this absurd offer. Fine,” she said, reluctantly, though she had a lot she could also say about not minding having to kiss him. Cecilia had a feeling that this was going to be a mix of her holding her tongue a lot to avoid pissing him off enough that he’d tell Roman anyway, and getting too irritated to do that in the slightest. Though, she supposed it might be a better idea to ensure that him going back on the offer wasn’t an option. “If I’m agreeing to this, you can’t get all pissy at me one day and change your mind,” Cecilia warned him, raising an eyebrow. That would just defeat the entire purpose, and then Roman would hate her for both dating his cousin and being the spawn of a Death Eater—and she wasn’t quite sure she’d be able to handle that happening. Cecilia could only hope that this wouldn’t last long, as the end of the school year was rapidly approaching, after all. Surely he’d be bored by then, as she really couldn’t even imagine this extending into the summer. Dealing with Trey on top of her mother, Klaus and Lars would just be a hell of a lot for her to do and keep her sanity. “Is there a time limit on this shit, or am I to assume it’s until you get bored?” She asked, rolling her eyes. Knowing his attention span, that wouldn’t be long.

He wondered briefly if he should tell her how he found out about her father, but that wasn't important at present. They had plenty of time to discuss matters like that, well at least until he was sure Roman was thoroughly annoyed. It was completely unfair to the girl to put her in such a position when she had done absolutely nothing wrong, but essentially being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Well more like she was dating the wrong bloke at the wrong time. Either way he couldn't really be bothered to dwell on that. She held the key to making his cousin's life a living hell. It wasn't his fault she was stupid enough to get caught up with a tosser like Roman. From what he heard she was just content shagging him instead of anything else. Why didn't she just drop him when that shit happened with his mother... Though her father was a death eater after all. Do she probably that it was acceptable granted he would agree with her. It was the only side that made any damn sense.

Trey noticed how she was trying to keep a straight face as approached which only made this moment all the more fulfilling. He highly doubted the bint would be able to resist him forever, or at least until he dropped her. "Good. He replied scooting closer to put a hand on her knee though not making any move to move it elsewhere. He wasn't going to grope on the girl, but she would have to deal with his touch regardless. "The latter." He said simple as he scooted closer to her with his smirk still firmly in place as his other hand moved to her other knee, just settling lazily atop them. "I'm more worried about you getting pissy." He laughed lightly. "You better get used to this. Or we will have problems.' He added giving her knees a squeeze though still not moving in either direction even though he desperately wanted to run them up her smooth legs to see how far he could get before she retaliated.

Later, she could anticipate the reality of the situation catching up to her and causing her to demolish something… somewhere. Her temper was something she just barely had gotten control of over the past year, with had done a bit but not much as far as getting people to think she wasn’t a complete bitch. Granted, any of that progress would be shot to shit when it got out that she was dating Trey. Half the school would hate her because he was such an asshole, and the other half were the delusional bints that would actually be jealous. Really, she couldn’t even imagine that, but she had to annoyingly acknowledge that they existed as well. She had understood the ones that hated her when she’d started dating Roman, because he had been well liked at the time. But really… Trey? She didn’t bloody see how it was possible that anyone would be jealous of whatever was about to occur. His personality completely made the fact that he was attractive completely irrelevant. Hell, he wasn’t even attractive, because she couldn’t look past his damn personality to see that. Which worked fine by her and would probably make the situation as a whole go by easier. The last thing she wanted was him thinking that she would ever be a bint that would fawn after him. Bloody ridiculous.

His hand on her knee already made her want to smack him, but she decided to ignore it instead. Once again she told herself to get used to it, because assuming she couldn’t find a way out of it, Cecilia clearly would have to deal with him. Maybe she should start wearing the trousers, she pondered, as that had never been a part of the uniform she’d ever been too fond of. That, and her mother made it clear that pants were for men and for women who liked women. But it might be worth it simply because the clothing option might even slightly irritate Trey, and that would be a benefit. “Super,” she muttered, but it was always possible that not having a time limit would work in her benefit. He couldn’t stay interested in one bint for an extended period of time, and even if he was getting to irritate Roman because of it, he’d probably be bored by the end of the month. Cecilia rolled her eyes as he moved closer to her, setting his other hand on her other knee. Trousers were sounding more amusing by the moment, actually. “I’m serious—I’m not bloody doing this if I’m going to have to worry about you telling him on a damn whim anyhow,” Cecilia snapped. Yes, something would certainly be getting broken later, though she was surprised that she was acting even mildly composed given the circumstances. Even the thought of breaking up with Roman was putting her on edge, but she tried to push the thoughts from her mind by contemplating just how bad the alternative was. “I haven’t broken your hands yet, so I’d say I’m making progress,” she said, saccharinely.

He sat for a moment just watching her as her mind worked through everything, though he was surprised that she was even smart enough really to take everything into consideration. Knowing her it was probably some incredibly simple that her sad little mind couldn’t seem to process correctly. It was very easy to understand really. All she had to do was walk the walk and talk the talk. He was a good looking bloke afterall, and she was a hot little bint. It would make perfect sense to others around them. And why wouldn’t some primped little princess want to be with one of the most popular guys in school? It wasn’t like Roman brought her notoriety anymore. He was old news, washed up, and he had learned enough about her family from her father to know that her mother would probably approve far more of him than Roman. It wasn’t like Roman would willingly go into her home knowing purebloods lived there the bloody imbecile. Trey would embrace it, put on a good face that no one would be able to say anything otherwise about his intentions with the girl.

It was easy to see that the Gryffindor looked about ready to slap the shit out of him, not that she would have been able to do that anyway. She could try but she would have failed miserably and just made herself look bad in the process. He was surprised that she made no move away from him though, if she could continue with this getting Roman convinced they were actually a couple would be easier than he thought… well if she could get that shitty look off of her face it would work. He rolled his eyes at her comment though the thought had briefly flitted through his mind. ”I’m not going to tell him shit if you comply. Besides for all you know…” He paused leaning a little closer still. ”You might like it.” He whispered before pulling back with a smirk. His eyebrows rose slowly as she she told him he was lucky she hadn’t broken his hands yet. Well he certainly liked them a bit on the feisty side. ”Oh I’m sure at some point you’ll be begging me to touch you.” He chuckled keeping his large hands firmly on her knees.

This was a bloody ridiculous situation—how did shit like this even happen? If it came down to it, Roman was one of the few people in her life that kept her sane. Apart from that, Isabella and Evan did as well, but Roman was the only one who knew about her absolutely ridiculous family. Now she had to break up with him on the whim of his cousin, and the backlash of that was going to be absolutely awful to deal with. Cecilia would be lucky if even Isabella and Evan were talking to her by the end of the year, and that left her with probably the worst summer she’d have in a long time. Before dating Roman and becoming friends with Isabella and Evan, she’d had to deal with those summers in any case, and it had always been awful. Last summer had been a bit better, because dating Roman had helped her to realize that she really didn’t want to be doing anything that her mother or Klaus had planned for her. Now, without bloody anyone, there really wouldn’t be a point in fighting any of it. She might as well marry a Norwegian pureblood and call herself a trophy wife. Or an even worse case scenario would be Trey wanting to continue this game of his into the summer, which would give her far too much absurdity to deal with. Luckily, the odds of that seemed incredibly slim; but really, that also meant that he was destroying her year and some months relationship for a few weeks of amusement on his part. God, she bloody hated him. He was lucky that she was a hell of an actress, because she’d certainly have to pull that out to be able to be in his damn presence in public without smacking him.

Even as he said he wouldn’t tell Roman if she kept this going, Cecilia was equally as sure that she couldn’t trust him in the slightest. That irritatingly meant she probably would have to stop herself from pissing him off enough for that to become an option, which could have potentially been the only silver lining in this situation—aggravating him. But apparently that was off the damn table. “I said I’d comply, didn’t I? Just don’t set your standards too bloody high,” she muttered, knowing that his definition of her complying might be rather difficult to do when she was this annoyed just being around him. Cecilia had no clue how she was supposed to kiss him, of all damn things, and whatever else he had in mind. At this point, the only upside she was seeing was that they weren’t in the same house, as that would surely add him saying she had to be around him in the common room. Thank bloody Merlin. As he moved closer to her to speak again, Cecilia stopped herself from moving away from him. If he was trying to get a reaction out of her, he bloody wouldn’t; but annoyingly her not moving worked in his favor as well. Apparently bloody everything worked in his damn favor. “Trust me, there’s nothing about you I like,” she replied. Breaking his hands was sounding better by the minute, though he bloody thankfully hadn’t moved them yet. Trousers, she repeated, knowing that that article of clothing would probably manage to bore him even quicker. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you?” Cecilia stated, smiling slightly in amusement. A moment later she was shifting her position, leaning closer to him. “Don’t hold your breath,” she said, finally, before straightening back up. Begging for him to touch her—that was never going to bloody happen.

Trey didn’t have any close friends, well really any at all. He felt it was ridiculous to get close to anyone. The world was just a cut throat place now and you truly couldn’t trust anyone. Sure he did have a very small amount of trust for those following Brant, and he guessed he could say he did trust his parents but no one outside of those individuals were worth his time unless it benefited him in some way. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to put that into work. Her father was still looked up to quite a bit, and it would be in his best interest to stay close to him. Trey wondered for a moment whether he could get the girl to genuinely like him at some point to sway her to his side. If he could do that and reunite her with her father it could work handsomely for him.

It seemed like the Gryffindor didn’t know how to shut her mouth, which he did find attractive and annoying at the same time. Maybe he could persuade her to let him properly shut her mouth in the future well save for his name which he was sure would sound superb coming from her lips. He gave a half hearted shrug as she told him not to set his standards so high. He was the one with the power and she would go to whatever standard he saw fit. She would completely seal her fate of never getting Roman back if she was ‘dating’ him and then his cousin found out the girl had a Death Eater as a father. A chuckle escaped him as she said there was nothing she liked about him. ”For now.” He said cheekily. He watched her closely as she spoke again leaning close to him. Well she most certainly a little slag just looking for a good shag. That was apparent. Why else would she chance getting that close to him unless she wanted it? ”You’re playing with fire, Hill.” He said darkly before putting his hands behind her knees and aggressively pulling her closer. ”I’d hate for you to get burned.” He whispered inches from her lips.

She had never expected this from Trey, though she supposed nothing should surprise her anymore. Before this day, Cecilia had barely even had a conversation with the bloke. Now, apparently, she was supposed to date him. The thought alone was simply irritating, even if there was nothing to be done about it. All she could even think about at this point was how he had even found out about her father. It was far easier to riddle that out than to think about what she would soon have to do. Breaking up with Roman was something that she didn’t want to consider, but in the long run, it had to be the right thing to do. That would simply be what she would tell herself. But Cecilia was finding it particularly disconcerting that months after her father began to contact her, someone in the school seemingly found out about him. Perhaps Trey was more immersed in that world than she would have expected, which made the situation even more… fragile, really. It was one thing if Trey was using this solely as a way to get at Roman; but it would be another entirely if he actually did know her father and have motives other than petty and ridiculous drama at Hogwarts.

He couldn’t, she told herself. There was no way he knew her father. The man was in bloody Knockturn Alley, working at a gambling shop and doing Merlin knew what. Cecilia hadn’t even known what he was doing with his damn life until his letters began, which was the only reason she knew about his job now. She supposed she should be glad he wasn’t at that work camp that everyone talked about, but she just tried to keep her opinions on that neutral. He didn’t care about her, she didn’t care about him—that had worked pretty damn well for the past years since he had left. Pulling herself out of her thoughts, she rolled her eyes at Trey’s comment, sure that there was absolutely nothing about the bloke that she’d ever like. Cecilia determined that there was still a certain extent that she’d need to hold her tongue, not wanting to insult him to the point that he pulled back on this horrifying deal to begin with. So she should tell him that there was absolutely no redeeming qualities that he possessed, or she could just not bloody say anything at all. Annoyingly, choosing the option that pissed him off less was more than likely the best one to use at the current moment.

Cecilia raised an eyebrow at his words, trying to remain unfazed by him. Playing with fire seemed like a rather apt way of wording it really. Any manner of action on her part could make the situation worse, like the fire bloody spreading no matter what she did to try to stop it. She had never been more relieved that years of practice at home made her incredibly good at acting—to an extent. As long as she could stop herself from reacting to his comments, she had some measure of control over the situation… ish. Not much at all, really, but letting him realize that he was getting to her, if that ever happened, wouldn’t do any good idea. She started slightly as he pulled her closer, but otherwise didn’t react. Bloody Merlin, she hated him. Pretending to date him would be a test of her acting skills, certainly. Although she wanted to remain unfazed by him speaking inches from her lips, Cecilia found herself fidgeting slightly, only hoping that he hadn’t noticed it. She couldn’t let him get to her—she dealt with her stepfather and stepbrother on a daily basis over the summer, and in ways they were more irritating than Trey was, even if that seemed impossible at this point. “Are we done here?” She stated, finally, after trying and failing to think of anything else to say. It had been a long time since she’d been in a situation where she was at such a disadvantage, and she was finding it more difficult to act flippant about it. Cecilia really just wanted Trey to leave before she starting to have a bloody meltdown, or some shit.

Trey was quite pleased with himself over how the situation was going. While the girl seemed like she was trying to keep control over the situation he knew she really had very little at all. This was what he lived for, and it was a bonus that this whole plan would hopefully work to his benefit on the outside. Of course he wasn’t planning on telling her just what his life was outside of those walls, but she sure as hell would find out eventually. For the time being all he would concentrate on was getting to Roman, and try to get the bint in a position where she wouldn’t hold back the want to shag him. As much as she was trying to play it off he knew she would eventually give in. That’s all she wanted his cousin for, or at least that was the rumor since it seemed like she liked to brag about it through her copious amounts of public displays of affection.

Initially it seemed like she wasn’t fazed by his proximity which was fairly impressive though he noticed when his lips moved closer to hers that she began to fidget slightly. He slowly licked his lips before a large smirk made its way across his face. He moved to let his lips ghost along her jawline before making it to her ear. ”Do you really want me to be done here?” He asked in a breathy whisper before pulling back to look over her face with amusement. She may not have wanted him right at that moment, but he hoped he could plant enough seeds in her head that eventually she wouldn't be able to fight off the urge to shag him anymore.

She needed to be done with this conversation before she did something ridiculous. As irritated as she was getting, and as screwed as she knew she was, Cecilia knew that it was only a matter of time until Trey said something that set her off. Her handle of her temper only went so far, and he was easily one of the most aggravating blokes she’d had this displeasure of talking to in quite some time. But she couldn’t risk angering him either, and having him take back this offer—however much she hated the damn offer to begin with. It was her best bet in keeping something from Roman, and her friends by extension, that she knew he couldn’t know about. Yes, she’d had every intention of telling him eventually but now that was out of her hands. Him hearing it from Trey absolutely couldn’t happen. There wasn’t a worse source it could come from, actually. If that meant she had to agree to this, then apparently that was what she was going to do. Cecilia knew enough of Trey’s reputation to know how quickly he discarded bints and she could only hope that she wouldn’t be any different. She could always attempt to make herself as unflattering and boring as possible to speed along the process, she mused, but then he’d probably realize she was doing that.

Cecilia would have some time to think of alternate ways of getting out of this later, but right now she simply needed to find a way out of this room. Or, better yet, just get Trey to leave first, because she didn’t want to be the one that tried to leave. He would probably just be incredibly pleased with himself if that happened, so she supposed she needed to stand her ground—which he was apparently trying to make very damn difficult. She really hoped that her momentary nerves hadn’t been taken as her being affected by his nearness in any other way than just being aggravated by it. Forcing herself to stay still as he moved to whisper in her ear, Cecilia wondered if he would take back the offer if she knocked him out. He probably didn’t even think she could knock him up, but if she caught him off guard, she was pretty confident that she’d stand a chance at it. In fact, even imagining it helped her to not react at all, which she supposed was both good and bad. It was irritating that everything went his way—either she moved and he got a reaction, or she didn’t and he could get as close to her as he wanted. Bloody ridiculous, she thought, realizing it was even more ridiculous as she let out a breath she hadn’t known she’d been holding. “Yes, I really do,” she replied.

If he had a conscious he would realize just how awful he was being at that moment, but lucky for him the one he did have was very quiet and could easily be pushed away. Roman had done this to himself for abandoning the family. He tried to play it off like his parents had run off and didn’t want him… they wanted him he was just ‘too good’ to join them. He was an idiot and eventually he would get a nice little reality check. There were only two sides to this battle, and anyone in the middle was in serious danger, though he had a feeling his cousin was already siding more with the Ministry. It was an embarrassment to everyone in their family. Snagging the girl he loved, a girl with an important father in his world, and strong pureblood connections would benefit him even more. Maybe he would hang onto her for a but longer than he initially wanted to, at least until the summer holidays were over.

He smirked as she confirmed that she was done with him for the time being. He could tell he rattled her a bit, which made the moment all the sweeter as he slid his hands down the back of her calves before removing them completely and standing up. He straightened his shirt smugly before giving her a serious look. ”I wouldn’t wait too long. I could change my mind at any moment. Until you hold up on your end you will continue to be in danger.” He said before letting his lips quirk up in a smirk. He bowed his head sarcastically. ”You have a good evening.” He added turning around and heading out of the door.
