Cecilia really did wonder just how long he had been holding onto this information. There was simply no way that it could have been all that long of time, or she’d have to believe he’d have acted on it sooner. She was irritatingly curious about how he knew and if he knew her father, not that she gave a damn what he was up to. Although she had technically forgiven him, in a vague kind of way where he wasn’t trying to contact her, she still had no desire to talk to or about the man unless she had to. But this was one situation were she would almost talk about it if only to gain the information she needed, wanting to know how the bloody hell Trey even knew about him. The only thing holding her back from that was not wanting him to have any more of an upper hand by realizing she was actually curious. That, and she wanted him out of the room before reality set it and she felt the need to start breaking shit. Her control of her temper only went so far and although she was remaining impassive, she noted that her hands were annoyingly beginning to shake and she clenched them to stop the movement. She wasn’t going to make a bloody move until he was gone.

Her eyes narrowed into a glare as his hands trailed down her legs, though he at least stood up only moments later. About bloody time, she thought, crossing her leg over the other in an attempt to be casual as she wanted for whatever the hell he was about to say. It wasn’t as if Trey would leave without getting the last word. “Fine,” she ground out, wondering just how long she could stall until he changed his mind. If she could figure that out, then she could put it off a bit while she tried to figure out if she had any other moves to make. Cecilia didn’t bother replying to his parting remark, her eyes following him until he was gone. “Bloody fucking hell,” she groaned, a hand running through her hair as she stood up. Her foot reared back and kicked the coffee table as hard as she could as she wondered just what the bloody hell she was going to do now.
