As was per usual, Cecilia was not looking forward to the conclusion of this school year. All that it meant for her was that she would be back home—or, more accurately, back at the home of her mother, stepfather and stepbrother as it wasn’t necessarily a place that had been her home for quite some time. That was far too personal of a word, like somewhere someone should want to be., and Merlin knew that was not at all how Cecilia felt about it. However, there were certainly other reasons why she was dreading this summer in particular. The very reason for that was lying on the coffee table in front of her. Her father would have a far easier time getting ahold of her over the summer months, and that was simply something that would be best avoided. The letters that she was currently staring at were only making matters worse, as it was proving that the man would not be giving up that easily. Cecilia had thought not replying for this long would be enough for him to get the message and stop trying to contact her—but in fact it only seemed to be doing the exact opposite and making him more determined. Currently, as she stared down the letters from her position on the couch, she was contemplating if it would be worth replying if only to tell him to piss off. There had been a time when she had missed him, of course, when he had first left, but she knew that the right thing to do was certainly to leave it alone. She was better off without him, regardless of him being her father.

She had no idea how long she had been in the east wing, but it had remained blissfully empty which was beneficial as she attempted to think things through. Sunday evening wasn’t exactly a time where this part of the castle was heavily trafficked, as most students were attempting to make the most out of the last remaining hours of their weekend either outside or hanging out in their common rooms. That meant that Cecilia probably would be able to enjoy the silence of the room for a bit longer before returning to Gryffindor Tower. However, almost as the thought crossed her mind, she heard the door opening. Groaning under her breath, she quickly moved to slide the letters back into her bag, knowing that it wasn’t worth the risk of someone seeing them. When she glanced up and saw who had entered, she was even more relieved that she had hidden them from view, even as she was also cursing internally at the presence of her boyfriend’s cousin. Knowing that he would certainly not be leaving this room, Cecilia knew that she should really just get up and leave herself, but her stubbornness kept her glued to the couch even as she attempted to ignore him. Cecilia pulled a random textbook out of her bag, and began to flip through it, her eyes focusing on the words on the page.

Trey had been having a rather terrible day. Some little piss ant had managed to get in his was heading up the stairs causing Trey to stumble ever so slightly which was just not acceptable. He was a force to be reckoned with and all the pricks in that school would find that out soon enough. He was looking forward to the summer, knowing that he would be spending most of it doing his two favorite things; shagging ditzy, desperate little bints and doing ‘business’. The piece of shit school did nothing but hold him back from his real purpose. He couldn’t really get away with some of the bigger shit he wanted to do, and he wasn’t willing to chance it. This was the summer he’s prove himself essential to the revolt against the Ministry and disgusting muggleborns that had put his family in such a position. Maybe he would even get his first kill that summer.

He snickered to himself as he entered the East Wing. There was no specific reason he had chosen the place, he just tended to wander when in deep thought. It seemed like no one was around the castle which was irksome as he had also been keeping his eyes out for a bint to share a good shag with. He tended not to like to shag any one bint more than once unless he was desperate enough…. Or if they actually knew how to pleasure him properly. His eyes scanned the room seeing the little tart his cousin was shagging. He would never understand why Roman was so bloody pathetic. She was a nice little piece he was sure, but was it really necessary to keep her around? He looked her over, and quirked an eyebrow as she picked up a textbook. ”Cut the shit, we both know you don’t know how to read.” He said off handedly as he walked past her to take a seat in a chair at the opposite of her. Maybe she would enjoy some company…

There had been a time when Cecilia really made an effort to not talk to anyone at this school, though that had been before she started dating Roman. Even now, she wasn’t exactly the friendliest person to come across. She was a hell of a lot nicer than she used to be, and had a handful of friends now—which was more than she could have said about herself this time last year, but she still wasn’t known for being all that pleasant to be around. In her years at Hogwarts, she had drifted between just being a quiet person, and getting into situations due to her temper. She was certainly better about that now, but if it was one person who could bring the bitch out of her in a heartbeat, it was Trey Rudolphi. Hell, she’d never even spoken to him before, really, and found that she still considered him one of the most irritating pricks in the entirety of Hogwarts. Cecilia supposed that had a lot to do with the fact that he hated Roman, and in general was just a slimy bloke. Absolutely nothing about him led her to trust him, and a part of her was still trying to convince herself to get up and leave as she really didn’t know what exactly he was capable of. She scowled slightly at the thought, as she certainly wasn’t afraid of him, nor was she convinced that he was capable of anything that should even put her on guard. Of course, that could just be because she was stubborn, and could admit that, and wasn’t going to leave any room just because some prat walked in.

Cecilia rolled her eyes at his comment, but otherwise didn’t bother looking at the Slytherin. She didn’t have to in order to see him take a seat across from her, as she had expected. He seemed to get an extreme level of enjoyment out of pissing Roman off, though all she had really experienced of that was him blatantly eying her on occasion. Cecilia really didn’t know how that was going to translate as far as this encounter went, and she was torn between simply ignoring him or straight up telling him to fuck off. She was under no illusions that either of those responses would actually get him to leave, as that would clearly be easier said than done, “Piss off, Trey,” she said, indifferently, not even bothering to look up at him.

The girl had seemed to avoid Trey for the most part, and he could see why. He was a good looking bloke, a quidditch player, was able to command the attention of any girl he wanted at the drop of a hat… well anyone but her it seemed. He wasn’t even sure why the tart was still with his cousin. It wasn’t like he was popular anymore or that he had any more slags hanging all over him. She seemed like the kind of bint that liked to be the center of attention and now she didn’t have any competition. If she had any brain what so ever she’d leave Roman. From what he could tell she must be a good bloody lay for him to keep her around, though he would prefer to find out for himself. The girl seemed to constantly be hanging all over the boy making it abundantly clear that she was shagging him. He was sure if she had a few rounds with him she would change her mind on his disgrace of a cousin.

It wasn’t that he wanted something deeper than that. If she wanted a relationship that was definitely not with him, but he wouldn’t mind playing the part if it meant upsetting Roman and teaching him a lesson. It’s not like the bint would be able to resist him if he really tried. She could be the envy of all the girls on his arm. At least until he tossed her off to the side. He glanced over at her lips as she spoke thinking about quite a few things he’d rather her do with those lips than speak ”Oh I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere.” He said cryptically as he leaned back in the chair lacing his fingers behind his head with his eyebrows raised slightly.

Gryffindors didn’t like Slytherins—that was some bloody unwritten rule that clearly Cecilia didn’t follow often. She was dating a Slytherin, two of her friends were Slytherins… hell, she liked the house more than her own on occasion. This was no such occasion. Trey hadn’t even been there for five minutes and she was already annoyed. Luckily, she had enough practice masking her emotions to remain unaffected, even if she wanted to smack the stupid smirk off of his damn face. At home, it was better to act like she agreed with her family’s ridiculous notions of what she should and shouldn’t be doing. If she could do that, then she could ignore the aggravating Slytherin or at least act like she didn’t give a damn that he was there. It would only be a matter of time until he got bored if he wasn’t getting a rise out of her, and then he would piss off to find some bint to shag—that was all he seemed to do, after all. Then she could hopefully go the remainder of the school year with no further encounters with the bloke, as she really didn’t think that he had the best train of thought and would forget about her after leaving the room. That would be absolutely marvelous.

She raised her eyes from the book for a moment to glance at him, keeping her expression neutral. Merlin, he already looking irritatingly pleased with himself, though she actually wasn’t sure that he ever wasn’t pleased by his ridiculous self. “Then open a window, perhaps. I’m suddenly suffocating—probably you trying to fit your entire ego in this small, small room,” she stated, wrinkling her nose, before flipping a page in the book and looking back down at it. Perhaps she should skip this part and just hex him out of the damn room, but her wand was in her bag and he’d certainly beat her to the punch with that one. Damn, she thought, hoping that this tactic would eventually bore him into leaving.

She was terribly mouthy, and what little bit of humor she believed she was throwing at him was more sad than anything else. There were times he looked at her and realized that there was no other reason for anyone to want to be with her other than to shag. His mind wandered again slightly wondering just how good her body would feel against him. She had a bloody fantastic body as far as he could tell and it was an absolute shame that she wasted it on his idiot cousin. Merlin what Trey wouldn’t give to show her how a real man pleasured a woman, then again he’d probably never get rid of the slag if he did.

It amused him that she was so cavalier while, he assumed, she was trying to be clever about the small room comment. She obviously was unaware of another thought lazily hanging about his mind. It was a fun little tid bit of information he was sure Roman would love to know about his precious little girlfriend. He enjoyed making others miserable and what would be more fun than to watch the hot little piece beg for him to keep her secret for her. He wondered if he should just come right out and tell her he knew, or just leave her to try to figure it out on her own. This certainly would be entertaining to see just how daft she really was. ”Well that was rude… I wonder what your father would think of that.” He said off-handedly, a sly smile curling at the corners of his mouth as he watched her for a reaction.

Cecilia wasn’t reading from the book anymore, finding herself too distracted at figuring out how to get the bloke to leave. If boring him didn’t work, she really didn’t know what would. She knew the way he operated, and didn’t have to guess at where his mind was wandering to as she could tell he was slightly distracted by his more-than-likely inappropriate thoughts. Unfortunately for witches everywhere, there were bints stupid enough to fall for his … whatever it was that drew them in. Personally, Cecilia didn’t see it, but enough girls at school seemed to, and that didn’t help his ego that was already too bloody big. She couldn’t even say that she found him attractive, because his personality was just so hellish that it was all she could focus on. It was too bad everyone else didn’t see it that way, because she wouldn’t mind him realizing that he was bloody awful. But as long as there were desperate bints in the wizarding world, Trey was going to have his pick of incredibly dumb and insecure bints to screw.

Her eyes narrowed slightly at his comment, wishing that she could say that she heard him incorrectly. Normally, she would blow off any sort of remark involving her father as someone just not being aware that Klaus was her stepfather. Cecilia had gotten that before, since the man had been around for most of her years at Hogwarts. But something about the emphasis that the ponce had put on the word was slightly unnerving. He couldn’t know, she told herself, there’s no bloody way he knows. There were only two ways that that could be a remote possibility—either he spent a hell of a lot of time of time gambling at the place her father owned, or he was in on the same little group that he was apart of. Neither of those options were likely. Regardless of that, she knew that playing it off was the best move to make. It was highly improbable that he knew anything, but if he did, she’d just brush it off until he left. She simply couldn’t allow him to realize that he’d be holding all of the damn cards if he did know her father, “Klaus is my step-father and I don’t care what he thinks of anything.” Cecilia replied, flippantly, turning another page of her book, though it was probably pretty damn clear that she wasn’t reading it at this point.

Trey was confident that if he gave the bint enough attention she would be begging him to take her. She was a fame chaser after all. Now his cousin didn’t have girls drooling all over him, and not a damn person cared about his quidditch playing, not that he was ever really good in Trey’s opinion. If the girl wanted to be the envy of every desperate little slag about the school she would be with him… at least let him shag her a few times. His eyes ran along her body again, his thoughts wandering as he tried to visualize what could be laying underneath them. Merlin he needed to pull himself back together. He had never wanted a bint under him as much as he had right then, but he figured he could just chalk that up to him wanting to make his cousin’s life absolute hell.

He chuckled lightly as she made a comment about her step father. Either she was trying to play it off like she didn’t know what he was alluding to, or she really was an outright idiot. He crossed an ankle over his knee, his elbows settling on the arms of the chair as he brought his finger tips together with a wicked grin. ”Oh I wasn’t talking about Klaus, unless he is a former Death Eater forced to live in Knockturn Alley in poverty…” He said simply, his grin growing as he waited for her to react.

Of all of the people that could have walked into the room, she was unsure why it had to be just about the last person she would ever want to find herself talking to. He’d seemed bad enough just when he was trying to irritate Roman by practically undressing her with his eyes, because that hard frankly just been aggravating. But now she had the unfortunate displeasure of being stuck in this conversation, though she was hoping that she’d bore him into leaving soon enough. Even as she tried to attempt to further convince herself that he couldn’t possibly be talking about what he was implying, Cecilia found herself growing warier by the moment, though she didn’t let it show. He had no reason to bring up her stepfather at all, and Trey didn’t exactly seem like the type to bring up family unless he had a reason behind it. But she didn’t see how he could possibly know anything, not unless he was involved in shit that she had no idea he was involved in. Granted, it wasn’t like she knew anything about the bloke, but Cecilia certainly hadn’t thought he was bad enough to run with her father’s crowd. Briefly, the thought of leaving came back up, though she once again ignored it. This was just ridiculous, really, and she was thinking far too much into it.

Taking a breath, Cecilia slowly closed the textbook she’d been distracting herself with, resting her hands on the cover while she quirked an eyebrow at the Slytherin. How the hell did he bloody know, she thought, her mind reaching for an excuse that she could attempt to use in order to get herself out of the situation she was currently finding herself in. Cecilia still didn’t know what the point was of him bringing this up, but he surely had to have one. “I’ve never met my father,” she lied, her lips quirking into an amused smirk, “Everyone knows my mother doesn’t have the best taste, nor was she particularly choosy,” she continued, lifting her shoulder in a small shrug, “My father could be anyone, and I doubt very much that he knows of my existence. So whatever interesting facts you think you’ve dredged up, you’re clearly misinformed.” She was surprised that the words managed to come out composed at all, but that didn’t at all mean that he was going to believe her.

Trey could tell she was playing stupid. Which amused him seeing as she wasn’t too bright to begin with so it most likely wasn’t very hard for her to do so. It didn’t like she was going to react favorably to any slight cue of his more carnal motives. Briefly he thought of just abandoning that route, he did have enough slags around that he wouldn’t have to work for, but for some reason it felt like he just couldn’t stop trying. It was a challenge and he was never one to back down from a challenge. Blackmail probably wouldn’t do him any favors in his endeavors but it would at least be fun to watch her squirm with anticipation of his next move. If he were to tell his cousin there would be a chance he would leave the bint and then she would have no choice. It wasn’t like she could resist him forever. She was the type that needed to be the center of attention, someone that felt she needed to be desired to survive. He could surely do that for her.

He shook his head at her pathetic attempt to shake him off the trail. Trey stood up, smoothing out his shirt before giving her a shrug. ”You know what is so great about marriage information… they’re public records. That means absolutely anyone can obtain the information. And I’m sure your boyfriend would love to know that your dear mummy was married to a Death Eater. Not only was she married to a Death Eater, but also had one father her only child.” He smirked crossing his arms over his chest. ”I know people, I can easily get copies of your birth certificate with his name on it. But if you want to play stupid we can always just see how Roman takes the news.” He paused giving her one last look over before turning towards the door. ”You have a great day, Miss Goyle.” He said with a sly smile before taking a step towards the door.
