Description of the Home:

Nestled in the outskirts of London is this charming Tudor style home. It has all the charm and history of an older home, but has been extremely well kept and recently renovated. Inside the home has modest Tudor styled flares coupled with the stylishness of it's modern remodel. Three stories high the home is quite large, though the personal touches and plentiful natural light still manages to feel quite homey. The kitchen, living, and dinning spaces take over the entire ground floor of the home. There are five bedrooms though one has been converted to a music room and another to a spacious closet just beyond the master bedroom. The largest room aside from the master has been outfitted to be a nursery and the final room is for guests. All in all there are a total of four bathrooms, many of which sport fantastic claw-foot tubs. There is not much outdoor space but it is utilized well with sitting areas and a cozy place for a fire pit.

Description of the Home: The Main House on The Black Isle is located on an elevated site overlooking the bay, the surrounding landscape and sea scape with its many islands and the famous Fastnet Rock on the horizon. The two story stone built residence offers six bedrooms on a total floor area of c. 4,500 sq ft. It features outstanding living accommodation with the main living area separating the guest wing from the owner's accommodation. The large living room offers double height ceilings with mezzanine over, extra large panoramic windows to soak in the light and outstanding views over the bay. The owner's wing incorporates a large kitchen and dining room, which is perfect for entertaining and also enjoys the most amazing views from every angle of the rooms. The first floor comprises a private master suite with en suite bathroom and dressing room/study as well as access to the roof terrace. Description of the Home: Dolohov Castle is a very fine Scottish Baronial mansion house which is dominated by its square central tower, and which occupies a fine south east facing position, with views over surrounding countryside. The tower itself is four storeys high and has a corbelled and crenallated wallhead with cannon water spouts, and an angle stair turret. The entrance front has a neo-Jacobean door piece with cable moulded architraves and a coat of arms above, together with two angle drum towers. It is a magnificent building with corbelling and crow stepped gables.

Internally an entrance hall opens onto a stunning reception hall with a fine Italian mosaic tiled floor and a magnificent staircase, with a continuous decorative cast and wrought iron balustrade, which leads up to the first floor galleried landing and which is lit by a stained glass cupola. Off the reception hall are the principal reception rooms. These include the dining room which has a richly decorated coffered plaster ceiling, panelled doors and window shutters, together with the drawing room which along with the adjoining sitting room has a fine gilded and panelled ceiling and a white marble fireplace. Also off the western inner hallway, which has Victorian tiling is the ballroom which links to the smoke room. Beyond is the cellar/gun room.


At first floor level, and over the front door, is the boudoir. The elegant master bedroom has an en suite bathroom, and beyond this is a dressing room. Off the east and west landings are a further four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a further bedroom suite with sitting room and en suite, and another bedroom with an en suite shower room. At this level there is also a further sitting room and another reception room which was used as a snooker room. At the back of the house is a nursery wing with a nursery, bathroom and playroom, together with a housekeeper's store. Off the interconnecting inner landing is an office, kitchenette and WC. 

The stairs from here continue up to the second floor where there are three more bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a bedroom suite with sitting room and en suite, a sitting room, store and WC and a turnpike staircase leading up to the tower room.

Arranged off the inner courtyard are stores, a game larder with walk in fridge, flower room and boiler room housing an Hoval oil fired boiler. Behind is a store and wood shed, and beyond is a double garage.

The gardens and grounds at Dolohov Castle are extensive and private. The house is approached by a cherry tree lined tarmac driveway which forks by the house. The main drive continues to the front of the house whilst a back drive leads past the rear of the house and continues on to the garage. On the western side of the house there is a lovely terrace with fountain and an enclosed rose garden. Within the policies are some good trees and a small lochan with an island which is reached by a wooden bridge.

Description of the Home:

The new Malfoy Manor is situated roughly a kilometer from where the original stands. Three stories tall, with large windows and a sweeping floor plan, everything that was dark about the original, is now light. Cream colored stone, and a blue tinted roof give the illusion of softness, when in reality the stone is unrelenting, and strong. The color scheme of creams flows through the entire manor. The entry way finds itself home to a large chandelier and a fountain topped with a rather regal looking peacock.

Two studies, a music room, a two-story library, and a ballroom can all be found on the main floor. Along with the family’s formal, and informal sitting rooms, three lavatories, a formal and informal dining area, a billards room, and a staff quarters. The rear of the main floor also houses Narcissa’s grand kitchen.

The first floor is split into two wings, one for guests and one for the Lord and Lady. Half of the first floor is indeed, their bedroom. With its own private sitting area, and a third, smaller, study, the bedroom is trimmed in platinum and emerald. A freestanding tub is the center feature of the white marble bathroom, and a glass shower takes up the majority of the back wall between the two grand windows. His and hers closets, double sinks, and an impressive vanity are all featured as well.

The rest of the floor, and the entirety of the third is comprised of smaller bedrooms. Each equally as decadent as the last, though all following the white and cream motif of the rest of the manor. The gardens sprawl out in every direction, and Narcissa’s greenhouse can be seen from the windows of their suite in the East Wing.
