It was silly, he knew it was silly, but Dominic couldn’t help but feel nervous as he approached his cousin’s house. Of course the 12 year old boy had spent a lot of time with his cousins, especially in Hogwarts. When the blond haired youngster was not spending time with his own friends, or he usually tried to seek the company of Donald, Amy or both. The Gryffindor did enjoy spending them with them He especially felt that he had become a lot closer to them over the past couple of years. In some ways his cousins had gotten to be more like siblings to him.


However, that did not change the fact that he was feeling nervous about spending a fortnight at his cousin’s home. His parents wanted to go on holiday for a couple of weeks, just the two of them. Sort of a romantic get away to rekindle the old relationship. Although Dominic secretly suspected that they really just wanted to get away from him. He was worried that he would get into trouble, or annoy his aunt, uncle and cousins so much tht they would hate him? What if his cousins ignored him for the whole two weeks? Of course that was very unlikely. Amy and Donnie both cared for him and loved him, and his aunt and uncle also loved him. It was just the Gryffindor being a bit paranoid.


They arrived at the Westwood House, his aunt and uncle let his, and his parents into the house. ”Dominic, cariad” said his aunty Helen before pulling him into a massive cwtch, his uncle Michael simply smiled t him oright Dominic bach?” he said. Donald and Amy were also there, Amy didn’t look too happy for some reason. ”You will be sleeping in Donald’s room.” Helen informed her nephew ”You will show him to your room, won’t you dear?” she said to her son.

Donnie nodded and gave Dominic a grin. It was clear that his cousin was looking forward to Dominic staying and that could only be a positive thing. The blonde lad returned it. Maybe this would be a fun weekend after all.
