Corey was running late to the feast, though that was intentional. It was his hope that Minny would have finished her speech and that food would be served already. Honestly, it wasn’t like anyone bloody listened to the damn speech that was given except for probably the shitheads in blue. Thank bloody Merlin that this school year was over as he had more important shit he needed to be doing, as did anyone who realized the state that the world was in, muggles taking over. It was pathetic, really, and something absolutely had to be done about it, clearly. Whistling to himself as he casually walked through the hallways, he approached the entrance of the Great Hall, smirking as he saw the talk of the school. “Get a fucking room,” he joked, pushing himself in between them, throwing an arm over each of their shoulders. “Princess,” he smirked in greeting, moving his hand to mess up the bint’s hair. He really couldn’t remember her name, not that it mattered any to him. “Let’s go lovebirds,” he joked, winking over at Trey. Clearly he couldn’t fucking give a shit about this bint as…well, it was a fucking bint. However, perhaps she was falling for his charm like half the damn school whenever he talked dirty to them.

Dropping his arms from their shoulders, he pushed ahead, banging the door open, not a care in the world. It was the end of the year; what the hell would they do? Make him come back during the summer? Not a damn chance. To his disappointment, Minny had apparently not started the ridiculous spiel she was bound to give, causing him to glance back towards the hallway. Clearly, he arrived too early. “Sorry sweetheart, Rudolphi and I have business to discuss, nothing to concern that pretty head of yours. He’ll shag you later, I’m sure,” he shrugged, rolling his eyes. With the summer very quickly approaching, they had shit that needed to get accomplished before they were dragged back here to keep up appearances in September.

Trey looked at the bint with raised eyebrows. This was going to be a good summer for him. Not only did he have a slag that would shag him whenever he wanted, but now he had his golden ticket to being recognized amongst a few select Death Eaters. He knew the dinner with her family would make things even better. There was no way they couldn’t like him. She would never have another opportunity to be with someone as good as him, then again after summer was over he would be tossing her out onto the curb. She’ll have served her purpose and he could go back to having as many slags as possible fawning over him. Granted, over the summer he would probably take a few different bints to bed. They weren’t in a real relationship anyway. He didn’t care what she thought or wanted.

He arched an eyebrow at her snarky comment really getting tired of her mouth. Maybe she couldn’t be trained and he would have to break it off before summer ended though he was doubtful that he could put her to full use so quickly. He would probably need the whole summer. He took her hand ready to guide her in when Corey shoved between them. He chuckled at his friend as he rumpled the girl’s hair. ”Maybe if you’re lucky I’ll let you have my sloppy seconds this time around.” He said with a laugh ignoring the Gryffindor for a moment. There was a reason Corey was his best friend. They were often on the same page with most things including humor. ”Business? Well let’s make this quick.” He said glancing at the girl before pulling her close to him so that he could wrap an arm around her waist before beginning to guide them. A big grin graced his features as he approached the Gryffindor table. He leaned forward kissing her cheek. ”Do try not to embarrass, yeah? I’d hate for anything to slip.” He whispered in her ear before turning to head to his own table.

Minerva watched as the students came in and moved to their tables. Their giddiness upon finally reaching their summer holiday clear on their faces. She was not an outwardly affectionate person, or sentimental really, but she would miss the students leaving and hoped they were well prepared for whatever lay ahead for them. She smiled ever so slightly as she noticed staff beginning to arrive. ”Hello Professor @samuel. I am well, I hope you are as well.” She said before her divination professor approached. She gave the younger witch a gentle nod as she addressed her before her smile widened just a fraction more at seeing her Head of Ravenclaw. She had been so busy she had yet to sit down with her to see how she was liking her new post seeing as she had grown very fond of her during her school years. ”Hello @daisy.” She replied before looking back out at the sea of students.

When it looked like just about everyone was there she put her wand to her throat clearing it loudly as she amplified her voice. ”If I could have your attention please.” She began waiting for students to take their seats and quiet down. ”Thank you. Another year has gone, and as every year we say a fond farewell to those in their final year as they venture out into the world to, hopefully, contribute to society in their own unique way. I wish you well on your journeys.” She said taking a moment to glance around the room with a gentle smile before continuing. ”To those of you who will be returning come next term we all hope you have a productive, enjoyable summer. I’ll keep this short since I know you all are ready to get on with the feast. So, let’s get on with the winner of the house cup. In fourth place we have… Ravenclaw with forty points! In third place… Hufflepuff with ninety-three points! In second place we have… Gryffindor with one hundred and thirty points! And in first place with one hundred and forty-nine points… Slytherin!” She paused between each announcement for applause. At the end Minerva waved her wand as silver and green tapestries unrolled around the hall adorning the Slytherin snake on them. ”Congratulations to Slytherin. Now let the feast begin.” She added, food appearing on the long rows of tables waiting for students to dig in.

This year had gone by far too long and it was well overdue to be over. Tinsley had been sitting at the Gryffindor table, waiting for the feast to start, vaguely listening to the Headmistress announce the Housecup winners, for whatever purpose that was. She could hear a slight groan echo throughout the Gryffindor table as it was announced that Slytherin was the house that won, the Great Hall being decorated in the house colors. All that indicated to Tinsley was that they were all the more closer to the end of the day and then she and Sutton would be on their merry way to their depressive mother. If they played their cards right, they would hardly be home, except to sleep, seeing no need in having to take care of their pathetic mother. It wasn’t their bloody fault that they were magic, causing a separation for their parents and the loss of their sister who now hated them. At first, this had really bothered Tinsley, though she managed to move on, knowing that this world was her and Sutton against it. This summer was bound to be a good one, she thought to herself as the food appeared. Seeing her housemate a few seats down, she asked for her to pass the pumpkin juice, pouring it in her own glass. “Ready for the summer?” she asked @cecilia brightly before taking a long sip of her drink. The girl was okay, she supposed, but they had been in the same dormitory for a few years now. To never talk with her just sounded absolutely ridiculous.

This was looking to be the longest summer of her damn life, having to deal with @trey as well as her family. Then, there was also the added problem of her father trying to get in contact with her, and that would cause a whole mess of other issues for her over the next few months. Particularly with the information that she how had about Trey bloody knowing him. Cecilia would just have to be cautious, that was all, because the bloke surely wasn’t stupid enough to try to make her see him—at least, hopefully not. Only a moment later, she felt an arm being thrown over her shoulder, glancing up to see Trey’s only bloody friend, probably. Luckily for her, she didn’t have to deal with both of them, since obviously Trey wasn’t going to bring her around his friends; if she had to be around Trey and @corey, she would be driven up a wall on a daily basis, probably, and have to hide it, of course. Cecilia shot him a look as he messed up her hair, trying to decide who was more intolerable out of the two of them. “Corey,” she greeted, figuring that she might as well be polite. He was more tolerable, maybe, but it was too close to call. She opened her mouth to make some kind of retort to Trey implying that she would ever even shag Corey, let alone referring to her as his sloppy seconds, but decided against it. In the grand scheme of things, that wasn’t all that insulting and they were too close to being in public to be snarky.

Besides, she had no idea if Corey even knew what was really going on with this ‘relationship,’ and didn’t want to make him suspicious if he didn’t. Not playing the part for Trey’s friend would definitely be a way for this situation to end poorly for her. The prospect of them having ‘business’ was a bit interesting, though she didn’t have time to think much of it before Trey was wrapping an arm around her waist and guiding her toward her table. Cecilia smiled slightly at his words, “Wouldn’t dream of it,” she replied, quietly enough that no one around them would hear though her expression would lead anyone to believe that they were having any normal kind of farewell that a couple would have when being across the damn room from each other. Bloody ridiculous, she thought, dropping into the first empty spot on the bench that she could find.

She barely even listened as McGonagall began to speak, only noticing that the winner of the house cup had been announced when the tapestries unrolled to reveal Slytherin green. Cecilia did wonder if there was anyone in the school that actually gave a damn about points, but she supposed there were. Vaguely, she realized that someone was speaking to her, and glanced over to see @tinsley. Cecilia passed the pumpkin juice over to her, figuring that was it, but then the girl continued to speak. They were friendly enough, she supposed, since they were in the same dormitory—even if Cecilia had spent the better part of five years at Hogwarts not talking to anyone unless she was being a bitch to push them away. “Ready to get out of here, at least,” she replied, shrugging. Going home wasn’t exactly the most thrilling of options either. “You?”

Before this year, he had never had a relationship that was actually… well, a relationship. It had simply been him doing what he needed to do to get a bint interested in order to get her interested in shagging. Now, not only was he dating someone that he cared about, but now they were going to have to figure out how to navigate that while no longer being around each other every day—because he wasn’t crazy enough to think that they would be able to hang out everyday when her aunt probably disliked him. There was no way that she could be a professor at this school and not have heard about his previous reputation, or current one, he supposed, since a lot of people just thought that he had switched up his game, still having every intention of screwing @isabella over at some point. Evan knew that the professors probably even knew about this reputation, because it was hard not to hear about the gossip at this school. So her aunt would dislike him because of that, and if she decided to play the authority figure card, then Isabella was probably in for a long summer. They were both just going to have to figure that out, and he knew that might be difficult—and certainly more difficult than being in the same dormitory.

“Convincing? On selling ice cream? Sweetheart, that probably doesn’t take much skill,” he replied, chuckling at the thought. Obviously he was going to beat her at this too; he expected nothing less. “A disgruntled customer during rush hour, so we’re playing dirty? That’s fine. Two can play at that game,” Evan stated, grinning. There were plenty of ways to do that at an ice cream parlor if he really wanted to; but he would wait to see what her ‘disgruntled customer’ plans were first, to know just what he should do in retaliation. “Slave? Well you’re just going to take advantage of me,” he replied, solemnly, his eyes revealing his amusement. “Maybe I should throw this challenge,” Evan added, smirking, before the headmistress began to speak. As he wasn’t someone who kept up on house points, he was surprised to hear that Slytherin had won, not that it mattered all that much to him. He clapped halfheartedly at the announcement, before turning his gaze back to his girlfriend. “On second thought, you having to do what I say sounds a lot more tempting. You’re on, and going down, obviously.”

He was ready to get out of here, that was true enough. It was really a long time coming to say goodbye to this place for good, and there was absolutely no way for him to come back to the school the next year. Finn was unsure why he had continued to return the last few years anyhow, and now there were no reasons for him to even give this castle a second thought after leaving it today. Its benefits have diminished throughout the years. His first year, he had wanted food and he had wanted a place to sleep that wasn’t outside. That had continued to be the reasoning for several years, until he had gotten enough money at home to actually afford an apartment there. Then, it had just been the prospect of daily damn meals that had him there—not even daily, three times a damn day. It was bloody insane how people didn’t appreciate that shit when eating three times in a week at home was pretty damn impressive. But now that wasn’t worth staying here with all of this bullshit, particularly since tomorrow marked the end of this… arrangement with Mila, which had been the only reason he’d come back after the Easter holidays. That alone was ridiculous, but now it was all going to be going back to normal, which was good. This caring bullshit definitely needed to end.

@mila was the only person in this school that was even worth talking to, so it made sense that they sat with each other at meals… because there was just no one else to sit with. It wasn’t exactly the smartest damn move, because the more they were around each other, the more this shit seemed to get worse. But that was beside the point now, as it was the last day at this damn place. Tonight, they would shag in the damn great hall to finish on a high note and then that would be it for them at this ridiculous castle. Good fucking riddance, he thought. “Guess we won’t know until it happens,” he answered, shrugging, but he smirked in amusement at the thought. It would be at least a bit entertaining if they got expelled on their last day in this place, but he doubted that they would even get caught. After all they had …done at this school, most of which they’d gotten away with, he doubted that anyone would expect students in the great hall the night before leaving the school. There probably wouldn’t even be bloody patrols, not that Finn really cared one way or another.

This school was a piece of shit that Corey had come to only because it was what was expected of him. Although only a select few actually understood where their alliances should stand, not many were in that group, even amongst the snakes. It was despicable, but it was something that he would work hard to correct. It was nothing a bit of socializing couldn’t solve, bloody obviously, and he happened to be great at socializing when he needed to be. “I do just fine on my own, fucker,” Corey laughed, eyeing the Gryffindor bint briefly. She had a nice body, he supposed…not that the damn uniforms gave much away. Corey left the pair to themselves, knowing that Trey would make his way over when he did. He wasn’t his damn babysitter after all. If he wanted to waste more time with the bint, that was his own decision. Corey collapsed down next to one of his teammates just before the Headmistress began her speech, or whatever the hell she was supposedly doing. Thankfully, she didn’t keep them long as green was soon filling the room, followed by food. “Thank Merlin,” he muttered to no one in particular, reaching across the table to grab the food that he wanted, no care in excusing himself.

The Slytherin glanced to see who was sitting next to him, noticing @evan and @isabella. The girl really meant nothing to him, other than her being a damn good chaser. Besides that, she was just the slag of Hurst’s, another bint on her way to getting her heart broken. Clearly, Hurst was just changing up his game as actually dating someone was a fucking mistake…especially one with her treacherous blood. It was a damn shame her family died, but he supposed he did hope that helped to convince her of the proper side to the damn world, not actually banking on a bint coming to such a wise decision. “Ready for a shitty summer? Got plans?” Corey asked Evan, glancing briefly to see where the hell @trey went to.

On second thought, Isabella really didn’t want this school year to end. It had been such a crazy year that she felt like she just needed some time to actually process everything, though she wouldn’t be granted that space, she was certain. She wasn’t really certain what she needed, all she knew was that being back at a place that she used to call home a long time ago didn’t sound like it was going to help her any. For her, it was better that she didn’t think about her family in any capacity as whenever she did, anger would immediately flood her and she wanted to seek out revenge, no matter the cost. That clearly wasn’t something she should be sharing, ever, and so really, her ignoring what actually happened was better for everyone else in the long run. The summer brought about fewer distractions, unfortunately, and she wouldn’t be able to just say she was really behind in school work as an excuse. It wasn’t like putting together ice cream cones took much thinking, so she was certain that couldn’t even be used as an excuse. It was really unfortunate that she hadn’t had Cecilia in her life anymore, kind of irritated at that, and she was still rather uncertain if Roman actually wanted to be her friend or not, but she was real thankful that she still had Evan.

“Is there really any other way for a snake to play?” Isabella shot back, quirking an eyebrow at him curiously. Of course she’d play dirty, any chance of actually scoring a win. It wasn’t cheating, per say, it was simply understanding the best probable method of succeeding. “As much as possible,” she agreed to his statement about her taking advantage of him. Before she could respond to his statement about throwing the challenge, the Headmistress was speaking, causing Isabella to wait until it was over. Apparently, Slytherin won. Isabella wasn’t even certain she attributed in the slightest as the entire concept sounded…dull. She clapped her hands together twice to show whatever support she had before grinning at Evan’s words. “When I win, you’ll be the one going down,” she said softly, winking at him. She turned to her food as she heard their teammate speaking with Evan, really seeing no point in paying attention to that conversation.

The end of the term feast was always an exciting occasion, and this year was no different, really. However, Davina’s mind was absolutely elsewhere, contemplating everything that had gone on this year and what would be going on over the summer. June brought about the anniversary of the murder of her fiancé, and her unborn child, and it was around this time every year that she found herself more lost in her thoughts than ever. Yes, she was known to sometimes get caught up in her own mind and not realize what was going on around her, but this was a time that she certainly found it happening more often. The fact that the interrogation was still fresh in her mind wasn’t helping the situation, and she really did not know what to think about that at all. Davina had to go through everything in excruciating detail once again, and that was something that she really was only capable of thinking about in small doses. So that had really brought it all back to her, causing her to dread the summer even more when she had very little going on to distract her. Luckily, there was so much activity during the feast that she really didn’t have to worry about anyone to consider anything to be amiss.

She began to pay attention when Minerva began to speak, out of politeness, of course. Just because her mind was elsewhere didn’t mean that she didn’t want to hear how all of the houses had done and enjoy herself as much as possible if only for a moment. Clapping as each house was announced, she was pleased by every point that her students had gotten. She wasn’t all that competitive, so it was not that big of a deal to her that Hufflepuff did not win, finding that the cup didn’t make any difference in how proud she was of her students. Once the food had appeared, she poured herself some water, but found herself not all that hungry. Regardless of that, she put a bit of food on her plate, and watched with a small smile as the students began to get food and interact. They all looked very glad for exams to be over and for it to be summer, and she was excited for all of the seventh years to go out and join the wizarding world with whatever job they chose, and she knew that they would all be successful. Davina just hoped none of them were drawn into the growing problems occurring out in the ‘real world.’
